  1. Can someone give me the cliff notes please
  2. https://www.flowrestling.org/video/12790295-60-kg-12-final-jordyn-raney-united-states-vs-omurbek-asan-uulu-kyrgyzstan was watching this match and just made me think about how certain nations have such a distinct style that they master. This kid from Kyrgyzstan's underhook series was absolute incredible as was how strong he seemed. I think its worth noting Jordyn had just won a bronze a few days before in greco and had a gold the year prior and seemed like he had no answers for this kids upper body ties.
  3. Beau did an interview where he seemed to insinuate as of now it would be hard to get that big but they are both focused on getting as big as they can right now.
  4. I would lean Cam in that wrestle off however maybe more food will help Gilcher reach that potential it looked like he had coming out of high school.
  5. didn't Berger straight up headbutt him?
  6. Sonny Amato had a down u20's but as far as pure talent goes, I think he is one of the best gets from the class. He melted down a bit mentally in his beast of the east final against Zeno Moore after a few 50/50 calls did not go his way. He had two nailbiters with Rozynski his freshman year and beat Maddox shaw he feels like someone that when he puts it all together could be up there as a top 5 kid for the class.
  7. Baseline defense is head hands I think worrying about giving up a penalty point because you shoot through what probably should be your opponent's natural reaction is unfair to the aggressor.
  8. I think Cam is going to be a monster. I think he is a better version of Sam Cartella.
  9. Kinda wish Joey went to u20's would have loved to see him scrap with Dee and Jayden.
  10. You have a good kid with Dean, absolute stud. The bachmann boys rep Puerto Rico so I would not be shocked to see them go to lehigh they probably train with Darian. I believe they also train at chances club which seems to have a strong lehigh connection and Weidemoyer is going there from faith christian.
  11. I would say yes within reason. If he is injured to an extent where wrestling a series, then sets him back another few weeks I am not sure. At that point though Jax is probably not bringing home a medal if he still cannot beat Vito. I think it just hurts the world teams training cycle a bit although I don't know how much a world team camp really matters in the grand scheme of things with how good RTC's are now.
  12. If it is within 4 weeks of final x I think this is fine I would like the best guy on the team. However, If this gets pushed into late July early August I have to wonder if he is that compromised if it worth sending him without adequate training time.
  13. I think Brock presents more folkstyle related issues although Jesse is also a menace on top and proficient in scrambles. Sounds like Ono may be redshirting though so I don't think we get to see it.
  14. ozdamirov he won their equivalent to u20 nationals he's pretty nasty.
  15. I'm sure some guys will emerge and there is the chance that ono drops for 2028 but 57kg is pretty terrible right now. Russia has a u20 kid that I think will be better than pavlov, Mongush seems to have grown into a 61. Uguaev,Haryutunyan, abakarov are all up the weight seems like spencers to dominate but I would not be shocked if RBY is one of the best guys especially with his arc of improvement in stillwater. The north korean seems to be very good as well and I am sure whoever reps Japan while Higuchi is off will eb good too.
  16. I on behalf of USA wrestling would like to allow Luke to take the u20 spot. Simply because I want as many golds as possible and I don't think Knox can beat the Russian at least in his current form.
  17. He said in his interview after that he was running a lot the night before to make weight I think 125 was more of a pipe dream at this point.
  18. I think it's worth noting Aman is always better at ranking series events because of the +2kg. He pulls crazy weight to make 57kg. Also, fun note he beat Luke in Lukes first cadet finals.
  19. After watching Cardenas against this field a weight up and comparing that to what Yianni did to him at the open I am a bit more firm that I think PJ is a year or two away from beating Yianni.
  20. Never won a state title, fast forward 1 year and he could be a u23 national champ.
  21. 74kg has Cardenas,Caliendo,Brignola,Bianchi,Birden
  22. Jax at u20 trials last year I think.
  23. Who is on the call with JD? I am not a very big fan.
  24. Will be interesting what Daton and Zo can do in the next 40 minutes before match 3 to help Ignacio work around the chest wrap.
  25. Been talking about how I find it crazy he took 4th at trials do you know if its a tough pull for him? I am super high on Rocklin and burnett but they are not Anthony knox.
