The more I think about this and read comments the more I think its too early to tell. Before the Open everyone probably would have said Blaze and then some order of Jax and duke and Bo would have definitely been in the conversation. The rate these kids are still improving is insane. Jax had close matches with Seidel and Raney just months before he dominated the open and then went on to beat Vito. Albeit in Folk not Free but I do not think the same guy that wrestled Seidel in the state finals was winning a lot of those matches.

Gross got taken down and rolled up in about 40 seconds and then the guy he lost to lost to suda 4-3 so he is out. Not a good look for me because I was saying he could beat Mehkitikatonov on tweeter.

Koug is good gave Kyle and takatani really tough matches at worlds I think by the olympics he was cutting too much for 74kg. Kinda cements that Levi is not a medal threat right now but not a terrible loss.

I think he was mirroring JD's stance that was way on the other end of the spectrum where I felt like he was kind of diminishing what Jax accomplished. It was like a tug of war trying to find balance. I think as mentioned above Kozak had the most appropriate perspective.

I think in most years he would be the clear 1 guy but his matches with Seidel and dropping one to Ignacio makes me feel like he is not quite as separated and as advanced as his peers mentioned. That being said I think he could AA next year if he went for Cornell.

You could absolutely be correct. He has said before that because of his herniated disc he sometimes has issues raising his arm.

I will say and this happened on May 28th so a lot could have changed. However right after they announced the delay, he posted clips of him just violating Knox in live goes. So, unless he had a setback he was at least at a level where he was killing one of our better young guys. (in a practice room and it could have been after hard training so grain of salt)

I am going to have to watch the matches again now! I know that he often does that palm up elbow to his belly button thing in his stance, but he does usually hit drags to the left side, and I cannot recall off memory if he did that.

He did not look very good to me in the match prior either. He was definitely better at u20's but I have real concerns with how Knox is going to do at u20's.

I think Marcus is absolutely incredible and I cant say with 100% certainty that had Marcus beaten Seth that he would not currently be on the team. What I will say is Bill Zaddick needs to find a way to get at least two of these guys at different weights!

saw GWO make a tweet about Bo's folk career, and he has a point. Bo has lost twice in folkstyle since 8th grade I believe. Once to Knox and once to Zepeda. I could see him just being better at folk than free because he can get away with being a bit sloppier. That being said I would Also have Dee in the mix with these 4. I also think Dreshaun ross's physical gifts could propel him up this list once he fills out and his technique catches up.
