  1. Jacques has finally made an enormous jump in his freestlye wrestling hes actually super dynamic on his feet im not sure what clicked.
  2. Carter (hes going to be unbelievably chalk so on the off chance he loses to mehki and med defaults youd have crazy leverage by not using him but its hard to pass up on a 9 seed thats the favorite to win the weight) heavy is a weight i feel like you want to prioritize one of the big 3 wyatt has been my lean because of his chance to make the finals as well as his bonus ability but those 3 guys seem to have really separated from the field 157 is a weight I think you can get some value. Levi is a likely champ but im not a huge fan of his draw for bonus opportunities and I think the field is wide open enough that you can take some shots. I like Andonian,Zerben,Mauller in that order 141 I lean brock hardy top 5 upside with an outside shot at making the finals (very outside) 149 I like gomez legit shot to win it and a very favorable draw to the semis imo 125 I think you just go with your favorite value guy I like Camacho but you still give up decent points on him Poulin, Palmer (if you think he can win off the scale) seem like solid picks 184 and 197 are my main pay ups I think keck could bonus the field and same thing with trent and Aaron they could bonus to the finals
  3. Knee tag (first to 3 don't let anyone drop to a knee) Don't have a name but it's a hand fighting game you get a point for getting your hands locked around the body, a point for snapping a person down so both hands touch the mat, and a point for getting all the way behind someone so like off a slide by or a duck something of that nature.
  4. is that the same rohit that beat castillo at u17's?
  5. taking zain out of the equation just because its so up in the air what weight he goes (if he wins the spot im super confident he will qualify the weight) ill be rooting for Yianni or Alirez. Simply because I think both guys have solid international pedigree. I know its a small sample but Alirez teching Haji alyev and then beating bartlett with relative ease at senior nats gives me pretty high confidence in him if he were also to beat some combination of lee,Yianni,Mckenna. I also really like how alirez wrestles he can transition to a lace effortlessly and he wrestles super clean which allows him to avoid giving up chained points. And then of course Yianni has the world silver and wins over bajarang and tevanyan among others.
  6. I think Alirez or if zain somehow makes the weight and is functional are our safest bets to qualify the weight followed by Yianni then Nick. Nick obviously domestically is one of the best guys, but he seems to struggle with the international comp a bit although he looked good at worlds despite not medaling.
  7. Nasir Bailey vs Nagao Davis vs Peterson/Ungar Shapiro vs Chittum Bernie vs Hawks Levi vs Mauller (don't really expect it to be in the balance just insane that the 1 seed has a 3x AA r2) decent chance Mauller doesn't even win r1 though he lost to Teague in the dual.
  8. second guy looks at least solid, beat tobier at worlds and lost to tevanyan 8-6. I dont really think James is going to be a factor at 65 though.
  9. I believe all the ranking series are +2 I know both of jordans weigh ins have been +2
  10. this is really awesome, thank you!
  11. The most concerning thing about this to me was the amount of people I saw defending him. Just take a second and look at the images he posts, and the videos cover image its obviously blatant.
  12. Trent Hidlay becomes first NCAA athlete to be sponsored by Jersey Mikes after defeating Aaron brooks in the NCAA finals. Hidlay punched himself in the head 13 times and then caught a sub that was thrown from the rafters. In his post match interview the only thing Hidlay did was thank his brother and the NC State program, as well as his parting words "get it mikes way".
  13. thank you! they really need to change that criteria I think medaling at u20's/u23's is probably more notable than gold at u17's
  14. is Jesse not qualified for his silver at u20's?
  15. While I think he would definitely medal for us I do not think he can beat Zare and if he is struggling to get his feet wet in the WWE I don't know that he wants to hurt the idea that he is an untouchable wrestler. Personally, I think he should have just wrestled continuously for two more cycles won 8 or 9 golds and gone to the WWE as the most dominant wrestler ever. I think Zare is too good though to take the better part of 2 years mostly off and hop back into it for 5 or 6 months.
  16. if you measure traps up he's about 6'3
  17. I'd like to preface this by saying I think MM is going to win, but Julian is very hard to score on despite letting it fly most of the time. He was beating Keegan going into the third and other than that the most points he's given up this year is 5. I do not expect this to happen but the only way I can see Mitchell losing is that he shoots himself out of the match to where Julian can get a 2-3 takedown lead and some riding time or potentially a takedown and backs and then just pump the breaks enough in the third to weather the storm or get in some long scrambles.
  18. Provo is the only one of those guys that would "surprise" me if he won.
