  1. Stupid f'ing brands gets the danger call to advance with like :02 left. BOOOOOOOO
  2. Mekhi's knee is in really bad shape. Screamed in pain the last scramble. Limping around and visibly in pain. Hoping for the best...
  3. Wins on the RT point. That was... not good considering how long ago Smith weighed in.
  4. Ethan Smith just hit with a stall and gave up an escape at the same time. 5-5 with :60 left ETA: does have the RT point currently
  5. I've been high on Kharchla since leaving high school. Thought he was going to the the Next Big Thing for Team USA and have been waiting for his re-emergence since ACL surgery. It took him a long time to get out from a perceivably lesser opponent. That's all. Still rooting for him this weekend because I think he's special
  6. No one cares you limey brit. Go back to your fish and chips with your room temperature ale!
  7. Brady was riding Kharchla like a pony. Not sure if that speaks to Brady, against Kharchla, or if it just speaks to the fact that tOSU is the *worst* at getting out
  8. Dan Braunagel with a solid win at 165. Hey... you shut up! Any win is a solid win for Illinois. Leave me alone and let me like stupid things
  9. Daniel Cormier, Alex Dieringer, Johny Hendricks...
  10. Everyone at OkSt walks around at 200+
  11. Griffith won the match 1-0
  12. Will Lewan: 1 seed, 12 seed, 24 seed - doesn't matter. This match is going to end 3-2.
  13. This link may be helpful for some folks. It is the UNI Panthers link sheet. Below is the URL and under that is a screenshot of what it looks like to help you quickly click and go https://unipanthers.com/sports/2023/3/8/big-12-hub.aspx
  14. It says the Mat # at the end of the title. What type of device are you viewing on? Mobile, laptop, or TV?
  15. I can't believe Carl burned a challenge on a 12 seed in the first round. Luckily the refs will make up for it by gifting Max Dean another title.
  16. Van Ness losing to Miller (21 seed from MD) 8-0 with :30 left in the first. Carl is not going to be happy about this...
  17. At least you get Fridays off going forward sans reading the project's SmartSheet pasted into an email at 4:29PM
  18. I think Brooks is more likely than Yianni. Brooks is a machine and I am still shocked that he was upset this season. I expect to see him in the top 3, at worst, for most tourney points this weekend. He's a baaaaaad man
  19. I was referring to losing to Brooks losing to Zahid. The seeding comment was that Brooks likely would have been seeded ahead of Lujan and Bolen. I believe Brooks would have beaten everyone but Zahid that year.
  20. Brooks would have a silver medal in 2020 if it weren't for an unstoppable combo of covid and someone skiing the slopes of Rome. He was likely going to come in as the 2 seed over Lujan and Bolen so would have still made it to the finals, but an upset was highly unlikely that year. His 4th will come with an elite asterisk.
  21. That's because I thought it was funny. I'll instacart you some beer and nachos tomorrow if it walks you off the edge duder.
  22. I mean let's not go fulllllllll Fargo. Nothing worse than not placing when you lost to 1st and 3rd by 2 points combined and no I'm not bitter why do you ask
  23. If you are going to argue disingenuously, then what is the point of this? The point I raised in the Russia thread is that Americans shouldn't throw stones in glass houses because we have a very dirty past, present, and future and that wrestling is no different. The difference between Russia and USA is state vs. privatized, just like our societies. I provided a significant group who has tested dirty in the past 4 years and were suspended. It is a fair and logical assumption to assume, especially using the greco national team all popping for the same substance as evidence, that others associated were also using and either did not get tested or beat testing (this would be at the group/RTC, or private, level most likely). I also used a very prominent high level athletic group led by Alberto Salazar as a strong example that apparently did not resonate with you.
