I don't mind the pop ups, I know Intermet enjoys the revenue. It was interesting to observe the female body on every page. without having a topic titled Ladies of the Internet.

One other question, why am I constantly seeing women's underwear ads in the pop ups on this site? My wife freaked out when she peeked over my shoulder one day. She accused me of being an internet cheater on porn sites.

I have 2 email accounts, Google / Gmail and Microsoft / Outlook. One I use for trivial communications, the other is for personal business, online shopping, bill payment, etc. Both receive virtually the same amount of spam, though Outlook spiked tremendously in early December and had persisted into January. (Coincidently, it occurred soon after enrolling in the Intermat forum and using the Outlook address). There is a distinct difference in the 2 when it comes to spam identification and sorting. Microsoft/Outlook is horrible. It sends marks and sends valid notes to junk mail even though it has ignored previous valid notes. On the other hand, it totally ignores readily identifiable spam, ex. grqtcvmske@xxxx.com. Gmail on the other hand sends all of that spam to the spam folder and I've never had a valid note sent to the GMail spam folder and it rarely misses a spam note. I've been contemplating terminating the Outlook account in favor a new #2 email account. Which free email / webmail providers do you think do a better job of identifying and sorting spam and phishing?

You are not recognizing this is a criminal statute. Good luck trying to get a summary judgement hearing.

But the rule(s) do not state "event", it references "date" of competition. Let's say a team wrestled a tri meet on Sunday, with 2 duals and then had the third dual the following Friday. Clearly that is 3 duals over 2 dates, same as the collegiate duals. There is no exception for a tournament transpiring over multiple dates. Same follows for Midlands if wrestling attached.

(Off topic) For those who think it gets better.

1st amendment, civil rights violation. The First Amendment applies to government oversight and action, private individuals are permitted to behave differently and may place rules or restrictions on your ability to freely speak. There are some limited situations in which an individual is technically liable for First Amendment violations. First, if you can prove that a single person is acting in conspiracy with the government to restrict a person’s rights, you may have a case. Additionally, some states have created their own, more stringent protections of people’s rights, and in these situations, your protections for free speech, religious practice and more may be more comprehensive than what is offered in the Bill of Rights. Title 18, U.S.C., Section 241 - Conspiracy Against Rights This statute makes it unlawful for two or more persons to conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person of any state, territory or district in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right (speech) or privilege secured to him/her by the Constitution or the laws of the United States, (or because of his/her having exercised the same). It further makes it unlawful for two or more persons (FBI agent and Twitter employee) to go in disguise with the intent to prevent or hinder his/her free exercise or enjoyment of any rights so secured. Punishment varies from a fine or imprisonment of up to ten years, or both

Just an aside from the main topic..... could that be the last year the 10 champs were from 10 different universities?
-
When was the last time you saw 7 of 10 DI bouts end with a pinfall? (Penn State 50-3 over Central Michigan)
-
Given the quality of the talent for the event, the seeders did a pretty accurate job sorting out the top tier.
-
This one is intriguing. Morgan State in Maryland is a public and one of the historically black colleges (HCBU). It does not currently field a team but plans to restart its program in DI in 23/24. Marsh is from Ohio.

What's up with the Google and Microsoft email spam blockers these days, especially Microsoft? My spam is up 10 fold over the past week. I've won every contest imaginable. I wish I could cash in on everything I've won from Home Depot, Lowes, Kohls, Target, Wal Mart, and all of those Asian women.

FWIT, #2 Glory was at 125 for the Rutgers dual and eked out a 4-1 win over NR Dean Peterson.

What was his weight cut?

1 Georgia 13-0 1 2 Michigan 13-0 2 3 TCU 12-1 3 4 Ohio State 11-1 5 I think they intentionally kept TCU at #3 hoping to avoid an all B1G final, but if that happens, its going to be a whale of game. given the rivalry.
-
Well, Utah intercepted USC's playoff position. Unless the playoff goes woke and determines tOSU in the playoff unbalances equity, they're in, or should I say, should be in. Here's an interesting scenario should TCU get upset. Assuming Michigan beats Purdue, tOSU jumps to #3........setting up a Michigan v Ohio State rematch. Penn State would have a pretty good argument, it should be in at #4. Its losses were to #2 Michigan and #3 Ohio State, compared to Alabama losing to #7 Tennessee and #11 LSU. No way no how does the committee advance 3 B1Gs into the playoff. Alabama reemerges.
-
That will change soon as teh TV revenue for 6, 8, or 12 if far to great and the NCAA presidents want it. The playoff committee made an interesting statement placing tOSU ahead of Alabama. College Football Playoff Rankings, Nov. 29 Georgia (12-0) - if UIGA loses the conference they still get in the playoff. Michigan (12-0) - not so for a 1 loss Michigan, betcha tOSU swoops in at #4 despite the blowout loss TCU (12-0) - a loss lets tOSU in USC (11-1) - same for a USC loss Ohio State (11-1) - it placed an order at the diner, just for the waitress to deliver breakfast Alabama (10-2) - will need both TCU and USC to lose Tennessee (10-2) - just wishin', the Saban bias has already placed them ahead of UT despite the loss. Penn State (10-2) - "We are" headed to the Cotton Bowl Clemson (10-2) - to the Orange and likely against UT (not tOSU as some think). They like having 2 southern schools Kansas State (9-3) - to the Sugar
-
Valid question. Historically, the team with the loss earlier in season gets favored. Why, forgetfulness ? Alabama has 2 losses, #7 Tennessee and #11 LSU compared to tOSU's loss to #2 Michigan. Clearly, tOSU should be the favored entry if UCS or TCU lose. BUT, that will be 2 from the B1G. Similarly, if they somehow allow Alabama in because of the Saban bias, that will let 2 from the SEC in. Allowing 2 from the B1G should not be an issue, but the SEC bias will come into play. If Georgia loses the SEC to LSU which not as unlikely as most think, they still get the entry over a 2 loss Alabama. If Michigan somehow has a brain fart and loses to Purdue, I don't think decisionmakers will be nice to UM and keep them in giving the seat back to tOSU. What will get real interesting is if both Georgia and Michigan both lose in the conference championship. Given the recap above it shouldn't matter, but I think OSU slides in ahead of UM. If 3 of the top 4 lose, no doubt the Saban bias will get a 2 loss Alabama back into the playoff.

OP's question regards public opinion of social issues, and in fact, crime is near the top in nearly every opinion poll. Aside from the fact, you posted elsewhere, the FBI changed its reporting software in 2020 and now many communities, including NYC, LA and Seattle are not reporting at all. Comparing 2020 and 2021 to any other prior year is erroneous. When businesses close down and move out of cities citing the local crime rate it'[s a serious issue. When residents pull up and move out of state because of rising and often unprosecuted crime, it's a serious issue.

DeSantis or Abbott, the dark horse in this race.....Nikki Haley. If not #1, she'll get VP'd.
