Is the two piece uniform experiment dead?

A friend of mine was coaching a D3 program when the NFHS approved the use of the 2 piece uniform. His AD heard about it and quickly alerted the coach that he was not spending more money on uniforms (they just bought 40 new singlets the season prior). The next day about of his incoming recruits called him to tell him that they had "earned" the right to wear a singlet, and if he went with the 2 piece uniform, they would go to a different school. As @Idahoput it, SINGLETS FOR THE WIN! -
I just expected more out of IL.

It's about this time of year where we start hearing all of the IL excuses. "We don't have the staff, we don't have the recruits, we don't have the facilities", and etc.... I thought they had a shot this year to turn things around, but it doesn't look that way.

Iowa had the same type of roster in the early 80's. Several guys could have started immediately and become AAs, if they would have transferred to another school.

My kid wore an Ohio State headgear his freshman year of HS and in January a ref dinged him for it.

Visiting Coach: Hey man, we're gonna start at 125. We agree. Referee: Cool. Then he gets out his red and green wristbands. LET'S WRESTLE! -

He was not the first one to leave Okie State because they didn't want to make a huge cut. Central State (University of Central Oklahoma) made a living on those kids that left Okie State. UNC had one of the first Hodge winners, who told John he wasn't cutting too much. It is more widely known now that we have internet and etc...

It has nothing to do with Cali groovy, it is a history thing with the state of North Carolina. The "experts" told us the 2 piece uniform would propel our sport into the mainstream. I am waiting.... When the Harvey Twisters get a 2 piece, I will get on board with it as a whole.

I don't see Byrd getting a major over Kade Moore. I am not a fan of Byrd's style, just my tastes. I don't think Moore has been the same since he got stabbed. Byrd looks good since his injury and will probably beat Moore. I hope it is close.
