If you are 0-1, and your loss is not slim, then it seems to me that being #1 is out of the question. But these things have a way of working themselves out. If Yianni is truly #1, which I have no doubt about, he'll be so rated in not much time. But how can you be rated #1 with one loss, no wins, and the loss was not trivial.
