  1. Its also part of why Musk "went off."
  2. One lady said she will wake up a slave. One lady said that people wish she did not exist. My niece cried because all the pregnant women were going to die without health care and go to jail for mis carriages. People on this forum are saying Trump is Hitler and will never leave office. Their perception is real to them. My wife was like this with Covid lockdowns. The anxiety was off the chart! Kept journals of who went where. Thought I would die or kill the family when I got it. She got the vaccine and was immediately mentally better. She was still weary about germs until returning to work last year. It had been 10 years since her last employment. —- So while the psychosis is sad, the music videos are still a laugh!

  4. Media matters actually is malicious…
  5. yes - https://www.space.com/14380-republican-debate-florida-president-space-program.html
  6. Once they collect the 12.4% tax on net earnings per worker, how they choose to utilize those funds is entirely at their discretion. The government makes the laws that go against the principals of liberty. Might as well be more efficient with it.
  7. $400B Slash to Defense budget, with $250B granted with detailed expense report, leaving $150B cut objective $200B: Reduce Fraud $150B: MAHA to increase health through diet and exercise, thus cutting medicare and medicaid expense $10B++: flipping social security to S&P500 and using access funds to pay down debt, reducing interest payments $20B: Fossil Fuel Subsidies $100B: Corporate Subsidies $80B: Cut department of education ~$120B+ potentially through cuts to Energy, Housing, Commerce, Interior ( I voted for Ron Paul before! ) Review additional subsidies... over a $1 trillion to review bringing back to the state level Some sort of hair cut across the board (with exception). Like 20% hair cut to achieve objectives. Something based on results to increase or decrease the allocations for the current and future years. Show me where the money went, show me what it accomplished, fully auditable... There is a reason this will take manpower to go through the risks and mitigations...
  8. They should be! Flipping social security to S&P500 and using increased funds to pay down debt would reduce waste on the interest payments.
  9. This is not helpful. 1989, AP: "Entire nations could be wiped off the face of the earth by rising sea levels ... by the year 2000." 2000, The Independent: Quoted a scientist saying that in just a few years, the UK could have a 'hothouse climate' by 2008, with 'monsoon conditions' and summer temperatures reaching 135°F. 2004, The Guardian: "Major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain is plunged into a 'Siberian' climate by 2020." 2005, The Pentagon: A report suggested that by 2020, climate change effects could include massive droughts, leading to famine and sparking global conflicts over resources. 2006, Al Gore: "The North Pole will be ice-free in the summer by 2013 because of man-made global warming." 2007, Dr. James Hansen: Warned that unless drastic measures to reduce greenhouse gases were taken within the next 10 years (by 2017), the Earth would reach a point of no return, leading to severe climate impacts like the rapid melting of polar ice caps. 2008, Prince Charles: Stated there were only 96 months left to save the world from climate change, setting a deadline for action around 2016. And John Kerry talking "we're looking at the largest economic opportunity...." Bonus discussion that predicts (in 2022) what's going to happen in 2024 with the election because of liberals... Nailed that one.
  10. Scientists have said the global average temperature has been increasing at a rate of about 0.30°C per decade in recent times where as the temperature rose 10°C (18°F) in a decade. Greenland - end of Younger Dryas, 11.5K years ago. https://web.archive.org/web/20161222172141/https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/abrupt-climate-change/The Younger Dryas
  11. lost opportunity is waste
  12. My friend from childhood, that I still see and talk to, who works and manages government employees, must have lied to me.
  13. The government is the only place I know where workers with under 40 weekly hours can sleep at their desk and stay employed.
  14. WKN has said before in this topic that Musk is killing twitter.com Musk says it is the advertisers fault for pulling their ads from a company whose owner uses its product to support anti-Semitic ideas. Musk attempts to dress the whole thing up as freedom of speech or censorship. People are stupid enough to fall for that thinnest of arguments. I'll agree that there are consequences for actions and that Musk can be an idiot that warrants criticism. However, the Media Matters smear job was real and there should be financial consequences for it. Their role in the advertising problem should be acknowledged given it was such a large contributor.
  15. 1. The country can reduce billions by trimming the fat. 2. Cutting capacity can increase productivity. 3. We can and should slash the military expenditure. 4. We should cut back and transform social security, medicare, and medicaid. Social Security could be so much better! My Current Contributions ($260K): Social Security Investment Yield (~4%): $330K S&P 500 Average Yield (~9.8%): $535K My Future Contributions at Age 67 ($760K): Social Security Investment Yield: $1.70M S&P 500 Average Yield (9.8%): $9.1M Retirement and Life Expectancy: Social Security Payout at Death at 73: $275K (avg age the man dies in US) Social Security Payout if Live to 77: $450K If my social security contributions were 25% of what me/employer had actually paid, and invested in the S&P 500, by age 67, it would theoretically be worth $2.3M. And think about what the government could do with that money. And just think about the state of the economy if more Americans had company ownership and vested interest in their success.
  16. The previous video says... Scientist created a very poor experiment. In 1875, we have the lowest (coldest temperature) point in the last 10,000 years. This is exactly the time when meteorological observations started. Yes there is a global temperature increase in the 20th century. But an increase from what? (the coldest temp in 10K years). And this means that it will be very hard indeed to prove whether the increase of temperature in the 20th century was man-made or it's a natural variation. This variable temperature over 110K years is interesting (see article). Look at the linked photo below. https://www.amnh.org/var/ezflow_site/storage/images/media/amnh/images/exhibitions/permanent-exhibitions/rose-center-for-earth-and-space/hall-of-planet-earth2/hope-illustrations/5.0_pc_ld3_whaticecoresrecord._graph/3335637-1-eng-US/5.0_pc_ld3_whaticecoresrecord._graph_wide_2040.png The selective "time" framing impacts the story we are told. Do I think humans impact the climate? yes. Is it the worst threat to civilization in the next 100 to 1000 years? nope
  17. Interesting 4 minutes
  18. Advertisers had some concerns about X because of evolving content moderation policies and Elon Musk's public statements. However, the report by Media Matters, focusing on ads appearing next to neo-Nazi content, was the catalyst for these concerns. Ads were placed next to this content in only 0.0000009% of instances, a detail that is disingenuous to omit from the discussion. In my experience, this detail was omitted from most news articles and it is omitted in most discussions/criticisms.
  19. It's not fun anymore. I'm all in for seeing some recovery and happiness soon.
  20. Hmmm About the advertising... Did you know that X Corp filed a lawsuit against Media Matters in November 2023, alleging that Media Matters manipulated the user experience on X to show ads next to extremist content? The lawsuit is scheduled to go to trial on April 7, 2025. Links Easiest to consume initial complaint: https://www.adamtownsend.me/x-corp-v-media-matters/ All docket entries: https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/68023366/x-corp-v-media-matters-for-america/ TL;DR: Media Matters was created to combat the conservative agenda Media Matters was already critical of Twitter before the Musk acquisition X Corp. alleges Media Matters manipulated its platform by following only a few specific accounts to force ads next to controversial content, then used this rare occurrence to claim widespread issues as fact, prompting advertisers to pull from X. The rare content being just 50 out of 5.5 billion ad impressions that day. In reality, only Media Matters' employees saw these placements, not typical users.

  22. The Mike Tyson code for the NES game "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!" is **007-373-5963**. This code allows you to start the game directly against Mike Tyson, the final opponent. Jake Paul cashing in, crashing out.
