  1. But I am assuming it is the Smith's. Lee Roy Sr.'s boys took home 13 AA's: 4 for Pat, and 3 each for John, Mark and Lee Roy Jr. Nothing for Luke and Matthew apparently.
  2. As near as I can tell the Smith family has the most AA's at 49, followed by the Johnson's at 32. Who knew.
  3. Not me. Foot bathes only.
  4. Good choice. I would put John Popper at, or near, the top of the list.
  5. As now you are. Welcome to a world with Trump.
  6. But not all of us are on stage rambling on about Arnold Palmer's junk.
  7. Let us no when you see the irony.
  8. Let the countdown begin. We are 10 long days from the start of the wrestling season. November 1 kicks off with 11 duals per wrestlestat: Chattanooga - Virginia Tech Campbell - Wyoming North Dakota State - Virginia Utah Valley - Stanford Indiana - Cal Baptist CSU Bakersfield - Stanford Ohio - Wisconsin Purdue - Gardner-Webb Seton Hill - Edinboro CSU Bakersfield - Utah Valley Pitt-Bradford - Edinboro Dual What is at stake this season? Sadly, for the first time since 2019 there are no returning wrestlers working on becoming four-timers (I am not counting Ferrari until the NCAA confirms he received an Oly RS). But there is one wrestler working on becoming a five-timer. He is a little know wrestler who goes by Carter Starocci. PSU returns what I believe to be a record number of points from the prior tournament at 130. But having lost 42.5 points across 3 weights, getting to 173 is still in doubt. Cael Sanderson has a shot to tie or beat the all-time record for individual champions. At 40 he stands just 5 behind Dan Gable's 45. (shout out @fishbane) In other news, NC State is looking to win their seventh straight ACC title. Appalachian State goes for its third straight SoCon title. What else am I missing?
  9. There is no doubt it is a version of what is good for thee is not for me. It is ridiculous that while there is a law banning Congressional trading on material non-public information, it is never enforced. Hell, if you enforced this law you might not need term limits.
  10. I have, just not in the Twitter thread. This "now do" crap is just a lamer version of what about.
  11. Charged? With what? And by whom? I have not contended that is even on the table. Sanctioned? Perhaps. That is effectively what the EU is contemplating. That said, there are a number of things Musk has done that are clearly securities laws violations that he has not been charged with. For example, when he was acquiring his Twitter stake he broke at least two laws, but was never charged. It is good to be the richest person in the world who is also very vindictive.
  12. That is the vibe on their message board
  13. Ferrari can only get to four. He used up a year when he tried passing in a no passing zone. He wrestled too many matches that year to qualify for a medical.
  14. Funniest thing you have said in a long time.
  15. I do not know if it was Mike Parrish, but it definitely was not me. I am not qualified to work for any of Musk's companies.
  16. Because Musk is fascinating. Yes, there is a strong case of piercing the veil. I gave multiple example in a prior post.
  17. What a weird way to get to "do you hear yourself". I do hear myself, but I fear you do not understand what I said. You can describe the EU approach as overreach, but it is predicated on, and only available because of, Musk first overreaching. Musk opened the door by ignoring that the corporations are separate legal entities, and now the EU is walking through it and proposing doing the same. That is not, as @mspart so wrongly claims, a statement about censorship. It is a statement that actions have consequences. It is Musk's own actions that have put him in this possible jeopardy. I find the question of whether the EU should, or should not, impose a fine very uninteresting, but you are both fixated on that. I find the issue of whether Musk's actions will have consequences endlessly fascinating. Often they do not. But at least in the case of buying Twitter, they did.
  18. You know what I almost never find interesting? Something someone appends "very interesting" to. If someone who works for me send me a link and their email says very interesting, I tell them to read it and tell me why.
  19. I believe that is the complete list
  20. This is how you look in the mirror the next day? Bad strategy.
  21. My response was very clear.
  22. With Trump now publicly obsessing about Arnold Palmer's junk, it is time he started cancelling events. One element of age-related cognitive decline is the lose of inhibitions and decreasing ability to self-censor. We have all seen grandparents who loss the filter and start saying outrageous stuff. I fear we are here with Trump.
  23. Howard announced his retirement via IG as of 7 months ago.
  24. It is what the fans of the smaller schools want. They want to see their team sell more tickets, they want to get up close and personal with the best. It is why many of these teams publicly thank PSU for scheduling them.
