I think the try to bring hunter garvin back home for 165, 133 if like to see them delevop one of the many 125 pounders, put some muscle on Cruz and spend some time in the room working on his offense and scrambling. Estrada over Williams so I would imagine a williams v. Block for 149

Great shout on Garvin.

I think Iowa will heavily pursue a couple of Stanford guys this offseason.

I think they’ll go after the Larkins, Knox, Garvin, Norman AND Posada.

They have straight up holes at 133 and 165, and not great options at 157, 174 and 197.

Are you insinuating that a bad Iowa is good for the sport...

Ahh no ... well maybe.  A bad Iowa and Stanford dropping the sport again is bad, maybe even a good Iowa and a dropped Stanford is bad.  There are lots of programs middle of the country not so many west coast.  When Stanford looked to be dropping JS didn't raid them he encouraged wrestlers to stay and he put Stanford on the OSU schedule.  TnT should stay in their lane.

PS:  Bob's gonna give me a 💩 for this.  🤨

Say all those guys give hints they want a change; whose is going to not talk to any one of the guys above?

I feel like I'm eating a cinnabon reading this post.

Estrada at 157 and Arnold at 174.

Knox for 133, garvin for 165

Lud for 197

Full of un-bias blasphemy.

I’m sure caveira will be here soon to tell us that no, it’s not Iowa’s poaching but Penn State that is bad for the sport.

Iowa poaching garvin wouldn't be the worst thing, he is from iowa city.

It's when they poach from little rock when they already have guys like kale Petersen in the line up that upsets me, or poaching Jordan Williams when you just end up putting Victor out there to go 0-2 at big tens. That upsets me. Little rock has a good trajectory right now and Iowa didn't "need" those two to make there season. Hell they didn't even use Williams in the post season.

You know what @Le duke maybe I do hate iowas poaching after all😂

I’ve said repeatedly.  Penn state fans are also bad for the sport.

I’m sure psu didn’t need to poach all the dudes they did to get their scoring titles…. but they did anyway

What makes you think Estrada is a factor? His offense is lacking unless he has improved tremendously. It feels like Block and Williams are both better than him.

Agreed.

I think Williams and Block could flip-flop weights, too. Might help Block's tank.

As the self-appointed sheriff and defender of Iowa, you post more like a whiny old-bitch than anything.

If that's what you're like in real life, if you haven't already, move to Florida and get on the board of your developments HOA, so you can gain the control over things you (apparently) have a need for.

Or at least go out on the porch and yell at some clouds (although you may not like it, as us Penn Stater's have a saying, "...then why is the sky Blue and White?"

Poach away boss.  Psu fans forget they do it all day as well.   Don’t like that being pointed out?

Both teams poach.  Penn State is just better at it than Iowa.  Iowa spends $$$$$ for $ results.

Bla bla.  You’re not even a psu fan.

poaching is the definition of spending $$$ for results.   It’s literally what psu does too

You’re right. I’m actually an Iowa fan like you. And I agreed that PSU poaches like Iowa. They just have success at the transfers panning out.

Iowa State would be the landing spot for Garvin not Iowa. Knox maybe at 133 but that really doesn't move the needle much-he is good (a former AA) but he isn't close to the young guns at 133 evidenced by Seidel majoring and then teching him.

Williams is gone-will enter the portal as soon as he can.

I think they go heavy after the Larkins, but I don't see them leaving ASU.

125-Deluca coming off a major knee injury.

133-Portal or maybe Bailey tries to come down but I doubt he can make 133 consistently anymore.

141-Bailey

149-Block or Portal. Not sure if Block can keep getting to 149-he is very big for the weight.

157-Estrada or Block

165-Portal

174- Arnold

184- Ferrari

197-Lud

285-Keuter but maybe Mocco if Keuter attempts to go back to football.

PSU does do it.  The difference is they do one at a time.  PSU also doesnt have a max exodus of the roster when transfers come in.  Iowa does.  Iowa compromised the culture for a short term gain.  PSU has found a way not to do that

I guess  I just see Estrada as a better wrestler. He filled in against some tough guys last season and did well. In my judgement he is better than williams, block will likely stay at 149 imo

I am guessing Keuter doesn't really have a football option. If he does it is just to sit the bench and maybe special teams. B1G football doesn't have a spot for a guy dropping in and out. Beset he narrows his focus to wrestling.

If he wanted to be a linebacker why doesn't he go out and attack or tackle someone, Oh thats right defense.

You probably know more about the Iowa guys than me but Estrada wrestles good guys close and loses = positive.

Williams wrestles good guys close and loses = negative.

Just an observation from the outside looking in.
