If you are a wrestling fan, whether you root for PSU or not, I don't understand how you aren't rooting for someone that wrestles like Jax (it's not like you need Blaze to win for any team implications). Tonight I was reminded of how fun it is when someone actually wrestles from the top position. I'm not being facetious when I say that I forgot that mat wrestling is fun when you have someone active on top. I enjoyed the Jax story after his freestyle season this past summer, and I was curious to see how he'd do for OKST, but I did not think he would instantly shoot to my favorite wrestler to watch and root for in all of D1. He let's it fly and looks like he loves every second of it. He tries to score every second of his matches and is exactly what college wrestling needs right now. Let's have kids want to wrestle exciting matches like Jax and not positionally sound safe matches like so many others.

Jax might join him for me. I disagree with you that every wrestling fan has to root for the guy who tries to score more. Some people like defense in every sport. And to be fair, I didn't say everyone has to root for the guy who tries to score more, I said I don't understand how you don't.
