That is true.  And in that case I fully agree with you.  I know some people don't root for excitement, but how could you not.

He let's it fly and looks like he loves every second of it. He tries to score every second of his matches and is exactly what college wrestling needs right now. Let's have kids want to wrestle exciting matches like Jax and not positionally sound safe matches like so many others.

 

So you believe fans of one program should root against their #1 ranked wrestler in a potential match with another wrestler? Look, I bet almost all Penn St fans love Jax's style, but you won't convince them to root against Blaze.

OKST was my favorite team back in the day and I rooted for DT over Tyler Caldwell because DT was one of my favorite wrestlers to watch.

It's an individual sport at the end of the day, and it's okay to root for an individual that doesn't wrestle for your favorite team. It doesn't make you a bad fan for cheering for someone who wears different laundry. I don't blame you if you stick with Blaze, but as just a fan of the sport, and an enjoyer of exciting wrestling, one of these guys brings a lot more to the table than the other.

Just off the top of my head, I feel like I've seen more scoring in Big 12 conference tournament matches between all American level wrestlers than I see in the Big 10. What do y'all think?

Can’t compare the two but I’ll agree there was a lot of offense! I watched 75% of the tournament, lots of fireworks
