Voter fraud is not an issue that rises to the point where it really needs to be prioritized with a law like this.

My question, do you care that if enacted, this law would disenfranchise millions of people that cannot afford, either monetarily or temporarily to get an ID, yet are citizens of voting age?

You're wanting to punish millions of people for something that happens .0000845% of the time.
Just about all your arguments are based on a tiny percentage of something happening that you don't like. I don't disagree that it should be addressed. But this is not the best way to go about it, as usual.

Why not go to bat on an issue that affects .071% of all women in the country?

The Ds in congress and TPTPTOROAOTP are on the 15% side.

It's an 85 to 15 issue.   What are you afraid of?

As usual she makes no sense.  They have freaking voter id in Somalia.   We shouldn’t have it here because maybe there isn’t a kinkos lol

There is a man on the street video where a guy interviews black men and women and asks them if they have photo ID.   Of course they do, you have to have it.   When asked if it is right to say black people have a more difficult time getting photo ID, they said no.   You have to wade through this abit.   But it is there.

American history has several notable presidential elections where allegations of fraud, irregularities, or "stolen" results played a central role. Here they are, starting from the most recent and going back to the early 19th century:

  • 2020: Biden vs. Trump – This election was marked by widespread but unsubstantiated allegations of voter fraud, mail-in ballot tampering, and rigged voting machines by the Trump campaign. Despite numerous lawsuits and audits, no evidence of fraud sufficient to change the outcome was found, though the claims led to the January 6 Capitol riot.
  • 2000: Bush vs. Gore – The "hanging chads" election. The results in Florida were so close that they triggered an automatic recount. Issues included poorly punched ballots (hanging/dimpled chads), confusing "butterfly ballots," and the Supreme Court eventually halting the recount, awarding the presidency to George W. Bush.
  • 1960: Kennedy vs. Nixon– This race was famous for allegations of "vote-rigging" in Cook County, Chicago and Texas. Critics claimed Mayor Richard J. Daley used the Democratic machine to "deliver" enough votes for JFK to win Illinois, though Richard Nixon ultimately chose not to contest the result for the sake of national stability.
  • 1888: Harrison vs. Cleveland – Evidence of voter fraud, particularly in Indiana, surfaced in this election. Allegations involved "Blocks of Five" (buying votes in groups). Benjamin Harrison won the Electoral College despite Grover Cleveland winning the popular vote.
  • 1876: Hayes vs. Tilden – Often called "The Fraud of the Century," this is the most controversial election in U.S. history. Democratic candidate Samuel Tilden won the popular vote, but 20 electoral votes from four states (Florida, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Oregon) were disputed due to widespread fraud, violence, and intimidation. A special Electoral Commission eventually awarded all 20 votes to Rutherford B. Hayes as part of the "Compromise of 1877".
  • 1824: Adams vs. Jackson– Known as the "Corrupt Bargain". Andrew Jackson won the most popular and electoral votes but lacked a majority. The House of Representatives decided the winner, and Speaker Henry Clay threw his support to John Quincy Adams. When Adams later named Clay Secretary of State, Jackson's supporters claimed the election had been stolen through a backroom deal.

Trump just brought all the election fraud to the forefront. There’s reasons why states like Minnesota won’t give up their voter rolls.

The D's in Congress are opposed to an 85-15 issue where they are on the 15 side.   This is just crazy.   Gallup certainly is no conservative heavy polling outfit.

They are the same with the transgender issue.   Totally upside down.

Don't forget for a second that the "transgender issue" isn't a real issue that most anybody cares about on a daily basis. It is a minor concern that politicians have been pumping up to try to pretend it's far bigger than it really is.

So many bigger things. Nonexistent affordable housing. Inflation out of control. Gas and electric costs going through the roof. Federal government overreach - ICE acting as anonymous, masked secret police and US citizens being murdered.

Don't fall for it - 'transgender' isn't on the top 10k list of problems.

Neither is whatever the NFL half-time show is this year... like it, hate it, doesn't matter. It doesn't make the top 10k.

Trump's goofball administration thinks they can distract us with dumb concerns targeting ignorant people. Trying to get us to forget to seriously consider the awful things they are actually doing.

Foreign relations have hit rock bottom - we've sunk to threatening, economically and militarily, dozens and dozens of countries. We've gone from being the beacon of freedom and hope to being bullies looking for everybody else's lunch money. This is a path that will lead to nowhere good.

Don't forget for a second that this is an 85-15 thing.   And you are on the side of the 15% and therefore your argument makes no sense because it does not address the issue.   It aonly addresses other issues.   Way to stay on topic.

Except one thing - you don't know which side I'm actually on. Your best is little more than a guess.

In the real world, people aren't always on team red or team blue. Many of us in the middle look at each individual issue and consider it for what it's worth rather than immediately siding with red or blue.

I agree with many red positions, as well as many blue positions. It goes with the territory being a middle of the road guy.

I believe Trump is the worst president in the history of the country. He's a chronic liar, with no redeeming moral or ethical value, who's only driven by power, greed and revenge. If he were an Independent or a Democrat, it wouldn't change a thing - he'd still be the worst president in history with the exact same lack of moral value.

Don't confuse my recognition of Trump as a complete failure with any type of political affiliation. No connection there.

Which "red positions" do you agree with?

You are concerned that I don't know what side you are on?   Based on all of your posts over the months and years, I'd say you are not team red, but rather team blue.   Everything you argue for is something the left espouses.   At least the preponderance of your posts lead me to think this.   If I have it wrong where you are on the 85-15 issue, you could easily clarify your position rather than complaining.   But you are not.   I essentially said you are on the 15% side and you are complaining but not clarifying.   Because you are not clarifying, I hold by my opinion, you are on the 15% side of this issue.  You are against photo ID for voting.  True or not true?
