So the worst car I ever owned was a Dodge 400, a K-Car convertible.   Had a transverse 4 cylinder that did 0-60 in about a week and a half.

What was your worst car?

Traded in my 71 Pontiac LeMans Sport for a brand new 80 Pontiac Phoenix front wheel drive X car.  No idea why I did that, we'll it was new.  Those Xs were not great vehicles.  I really didn't have issues but ... went Mazda Rx-7 after lots of fun.

A  10 year old Ford Ltd with holes in the doors, clothe hangers holding the muffler, red plastic tape for brake lenses, but a 351 Cleveland under the hood.

4 door?

The 4 doors on that alone would weigh more than a modern car.

Yeah man!!   I think it had bench front seat   If you Took a lot of hard rights she would end up right in your lap!!   then when you found a place  the back seat would be handy.   Pre apartment time!!

2001 Dodge ram, 1500 short box, V-8 magnum. Fun truck but a wheel flew off it one time when I skipped chores to go fishing.. got in trouble that day

Full of un-bias blasphemy.

Five door 428 4-speed!!

We had the Chevy version before the LTD.  Me my 2 brothers/sister and 5 cousins would hop in and my mom and her sister would take us to places. No seat belts moms smoking! 🤷‍♂️ had the two opposing bench seats that folded up in the back

Two wrongs don't make a right but three rights make a left.

We went thru the station wagon era, opposed rear seats and the backward facing rear seat.  No one liked sitting in back but guess we thought it better than previous Galaxy 500, 4 in the back seat no seat belts, a fight to get a window seat, always two losers.

I had a 74 Mustang 2.  Nothing but problems, but it looked cool.

My favorite car (when I was young and broke) was my $100 Dodge Dart with a slant 6.  Lots of room in the back and trunk.

I had an Isuzu Trooper like that.  Issue after issue.  The last straw was when the head gasket went after 45K miles.

I had the big trooper model that Honda bought out to be the Pilot. It ran until everything was rusted away except the engine.

It did go thru mufflers and rear bearing seals if I remember right.

First real job had me buying a cherry red turbo charged mazda rx 7. That led to lots of chicks and lots of tix, as in speeding tix.

2011 saab 95 aero. It had been my dream car since it came out, and a couple years ago I found one. Cosmetically pristine with 80k miles. For the first time in my life, I bought a car just because of the way it made me feel. And then ... the next 4 years reminds me of Benjamin's 9th thesis on the philosophy of history:

My wing is ready to fly
I would rather turn back
For had I stayed mortal time
I would have had little luck.
— Gerhard Scholem, “Angelic Greetings”

There is a painting by Klee called Angelus Novus. An angel
is depicted there who looks as though he were about to distance
himself from something which he is staring at. His eyes are opened
wide, his mouth stands open and his wings are outstretched. The
Angel of History must look just so. His face is turned towards the
past. Where we see the appearance of a chain of events, he sees one
single catastrophe, which unceasingly piles rubble on top of rubble and
hurls it before his feet. He would like to pause for a moment so fair
[verweilen: a reference to Goethe’s Faust], to awaken the dead and to
piece together what has been smashed. But a storm is blowing from
Paradise, it has caught itself up in his wings and is so strong that the
Angel can no longer close them. The storm drives him irresistibly into
the future, to which his back is turned, while the rubble-heap before
him grows sky-high. That which we call progress, is this storm.

Aunt & Uncle had the Trooper back in the 90's.  After every drive always got out of that jeep with motion sickness.  Was not a fan

The worst of many, Pontiac Fiero, first model year.  Bought used and abused.  Had to remove engine to change water pump.  By the time I got rid of it, I was pulling and pushing with both hands to change gears.   One of many poor decisions.  My first car choice was '71 Pinto or '69 Mustang.   I took the Pinto.
