A fun Sunday dual.  It keeps alive the battle of the upbeatens on Friday Feb. 13th between PSU and Ohio State ... though Ohio State looked a lot more vulnerable today than they have all season

That Ohio State effort will get pounded on. They don't get enough lunger bricks to stay close.

Great dual, since most of the better ones have been on Big Ten Network proper (which I dont' have) it was nice to watch one on Big Ten Plus. Good heart Nebraska, loved the fire for that team but also love that Feldman takes out AJ to win it.

Twas a good day of wrestling

I'm getting worried about your health.  If Bob was here, I'd request a nicotine patch emoji or perhaps Nicorette gum (does this still exist? I still remember the commercials as a kid)

Ended up being a good dual.  Nebraska needs to wrestle with my courage and confidence.  Great win by Mcdanels and Minto.  That was a rough match to watch from AJ, very few legit attemps.

Angelo got a ton of attention for NOT shooting, so it could be a family social media strategy.

I hope AJ somehow draws Taylor from Lehigh earlier than expected at ncaa.

Right now he is looking like a 4-6 seed.  It is conceivable that Taylor is a 3/4 seed.

From a NE Fan's POV

125: Lauredson keeping it to a major instead of Tech or Pin is probably all we could have asked for

133: Van Dee slowed Davino down with his movement, but never came close to a score. VD needs to find a way to mix it up with the top guys

141: Brock looking flat, which doesn't work against Mendez.  I trust Hardy will put it together by the end of the year.

149: Lamer has good offense, You know NE wil be working shot finishes defending the dive roll.

157: Antrell does what he should against the backup

165: would like to see LJ open up

174 BIg win for Minto

184 Allred pulls it off, but needs more offense if he wants to AA again

197 That was the best match I've seen with McDaniel.  He's looking more confident.

285: AJ is incredibly hard to watch, and IMO was a bad pick up and a distraction for the cornhuskers. I was rooting for the huskers and yet wanted AJ to lose...cringey his dad is matside too, rough look..But I was surprised he showed up for both matches this weekend

Mendez is going to another level, I think Brother Brock is starting to look HEW-ish. Just doesn't seem as sharp as last year.

He really is - totally dominated Hardy. Mendez is unstoppable.

I would be curious to know how the coaching staff is managing his load. He'll be 27 shortly after NCAAs and you just can't practice the same way at that age as you can when you're in your first few years of college. The body just doesn't recover fast enough to grind every day. I would assume they know what they're doing with an older athlete, but who knows. He's looked a little sluggish like maybe he doesn't really have his legs under him.

i def think you are over thinking his age. the dude is 26, not 56.

I think that's the biggest change I have noticed to, just doesn't seem as fast or reactive, or a quick with his hands in scrambles

Full of un-bias blasphemy.

Im sure we see the 165 and 197 strategy for the Bucks next weekend also. Birden and Shumate need to both step up if they want the starting spots, they didn’t this weekend.

I actually would not be shocked to see Birden against Mitchell I doubt either guy avoids getting teched but Birden probably has the best shot to slow things down.

as a 27 year old who has dabbled in bodybuilding and plays do not laugh at me (high level pickleball) I feel like I need taken out to pasture after doing the same things I would do at 24 and thats probably not even a percentage of what a collegiate season in the big 10 feels like.

Thought starting Birden was ducking 😂
