2-1 and the last match was like two years ago. I wonder if anything's happened since then

I think Blaze won like 9-4 at the Clarion open and 8-1 at senior nationals

2023 jax lost...... 2024 Jax lost not certain when He beat Blaze H2H......

yes sir Seth pinned him and yes Blaze has wins over Seth as does Forrest, but H2H i do not believe he has a H2H over him, Forrest was up 4-0 at Clarion in 2023 before Blaze came back with 9 straight than in 2024 Blaze won again but this time it wasnot as close 8-1...all the same both are awesome talents and i dont favor one or the other!

I really have no issue whatso ever that Forrest placed higher than Blaze, i just dont believe he has ever won H2H over him, to be even more fair DAVINO might be better than both i believe he is 2-1 against Forrest and 1-4 vs Blaze (however he is 1 & 1 in folkstyle)...... 133 is crazy good i will be cheering for good matches no real favorites

Only remember their last 2 matches and Blaze winning both.  When was the 3rd?

Sorry they're actually 2-2 in matches I can find. Jax beat Blaze 10-1 at Super 32 at 120 lbs and Jax beat Blaze 13-4 at Super 32 at 105 lbs.

Their most recent h2h was two years ago and at a different weight.

This summer they were in the same bracket and at the same weight they're competing in now and Jax dominated.

Ayala is a two time ncaa finalist and has had a ridiculously tough schedule to start the season. He lost to the returning champ, Davino and two all americans.  None of those are terrible losses.

He isn't currently 4-4.  His next three matches are Blaze, Van Dee, Chris Cannon, and Devino.  Then he had MSU and Michigan and finishes the season with the OSU dual.  That's potentially two returning AAs plus Blaze, Devino, and Forrest.

I think Ayala finishes the season with double digit losses and more losses than the previous three years combined.  It crazy how much tougher 133 is this year vs last year.

Forrest won in 2020 and 2022 (super 32)

Blaze won in 2023 (Clarion open) and 2024 (at the Olympic team trials)

Good that you don't have to rely on "belief" any more. You can rest easy knowing they're tied head to head and Jax won their most recent shared bracket

can i "personally" do what he did???  [been there, done that and could probably do it again if i had to, now i just teach wrestlers to do that]

do i want too...[heck no my days are long gone it would take me 3 weeks to recover.......... but there was a time] (lol)

ps~ I must admit I do however wrestle with my dog (Blue nose pit) and i kick his butt in simialr fashion does that count

most recent shared bracket in folkstlye would have been 2023 at the clarion open correct or am i wrong yet again

Clarion open 2023 results:

Blaze beat Forrest 9-4 in quarters, than beat Ramos in SV in semi's, than lost too Palmer in final..... (same tourney Forrest took 5th)

Now only folkstyle counts? Earlier you were touting an old freestyle win...

If you think results from two years ago are more meaningful than recent results then you're entitled to hold that opinion

I think in the future we might be looking back on this 133 bracket as the toughest bracket of all time.

I agree, even though I don’t think Jax will end up pulling his redshirt this weight class is insane.  And no one is even talking about Crookham.  Can’t wait to see how it all shakes out

come on my friend lets not bicker you do realize the Clarion open in NOV 2023 wasnt as long ago as you make it seem and it was in FOLKSTYLE their last H2H meeting in FOLKSTYLE and Blaze won 9-4 now 2020 and 2022 was a very long time ago was one of those wins by Forrest in Middle school....

the last meeting they had H2H in FREESTYLE was in 2024 which Blaze won 8-1

never said folkstyle or freestyle only counts, however since we are in FOLKSTYLE SEASON...... but your right FREESTYLE COUNTS, i have done both myself at the highest level, and 1 helped me 10 fold in the other, but i do say they are different otherwise ONO goes untouched for as long as he want too wrestle FOLKSTYLE.....

I would have zero issue IF Blaze won in 2020 & 2022 (now that is a really long time ago but a win is a win) and Forrest won the most recent bouts in Freestyle and Folk, but that did not happen,  honestly could careless how this played out, they both are very talented and we may only see this matchup a few times in college, I think they will end up in different weight classes for atleast 2 of the 4 years

heres my final input on this.......  my man Forrest won folkstyle in 2020 thats roughly 72 months ago than again won in 2022 roughly 48 months ago, Blaze won Folkstyle in 2023 (the very end of 2023) so thats roughly 24 months ago than won again in 2024 just 5 months later thats roughly 20 months ago......

lets just say this they both have improved over the last 20 months who's better could careless, supporter of all wrazzlers and my 2 favorites are (Snyder & Nolf)!

Jax majored him at super 32 in 2022. Trials was 4-1 with 5 seconds left and Jax tried to go f2b and gave up 4. Clarion open he was leading with less than a minute left. Both were within the margins enough for me to say it's hard to predict the outcome after 2 years of development for both. I think they are 1,2 p4p out of this insane freshman class.

Actually 2+ years is a very long time for a teenager to develop and improve.

I think the next time they face off it will be very close in reality, but maybe not in the scoreboard. They have such contrasting styles that there could be a lot of action and points scored or a very low scoring match with lots of hand fighting.

133 is not a tough pull for Forrest right now. Definitely nothing like Bouzakis at 125

That may be so - but it would look to me like Forrest has the type of frame where he could end up at 165 eventually if he fills out.
