I need more information, but my inclination is no. We'd be taking on what's probably a very dependent country.

Lmfao. They've been fine without us. Btw, residents of u.s. territories get very limited benefits and population of Greenland is very tiny

The fact that you aren't necessary swallowing the MAGA bs on this one gives me a tiny bit of hope though.

I'm guessing they are subsidized by Denmark, but I don't know that. I don't believe that Greenland has much going for them as far as industry and resources. I doubt they have a significant agricultural economy and I don't see them being able to compete with the third world in manufacturing.

Greenland's main industry is fishing, particularly shrimp and halibut, which accounts for over 90% of its exports, supported by significant subsidies from Denmark and growing interest in mining rare minerals, though this is still developing due to infrastructure challenges. The economy also includes tourism, handicrafts, and hunting, but heavily relies on public sector jobs and Danish financial support for its overall stability.

Key Industries & Economic Drivers:

Fisheries: The backbone of the economy, with shrimp (prawns) and fish (halibut) being primary exports.

Danish Subsidies: A significant portion of government revenue comes from Denmark, providing crucial financial stability.

Mining (Emerging): Large deposits of rare earths, lithium, and other minerals offer future potential, but mining faces high costs and logistical hurdles.

Tourism: A growing sector, leveraging Greenland's unique Arctic landscape, fjords, and glaciers.

Hunting & Handicrafts: Traditional activities like sealing and whaling remain culturally important, alongside the production of hides and skins.

Challenges:

Dependence: High reliance on fish prices and Danish funding.

Climate Change: Affects ecosystems and traditional hunting/fishing.

Infrastructure: Limits the growth of sectors like mining.

They have minerals and potential oil. So take it from them and denmark then?

There's oil everywhere that's far from unique anymore.

Great opportunities for our big oil and mining companies to profit though. Don't they deserve that if they bought some meme coins?

This meme coin thing ain't gaining any traction. I think it's time for a new strategy. I think the getting shot by ice has been a pretty good one maybe you guys should concentrate on that. Present company excluded of course.

Another reality

If there's anything remotely close to proof that Biden took bribes, arrest him. Until then, this is another deflection. Because you can't defend trumptard.

He IS considering military force. That's a fact. So let's discuss.

We discussed it.  I said we shouldn’t invade.   It’s above  this post somewhere

Other than what Hunter said. The 10 for the big guy isn't something we made up.

I'd sure like to be more informed. I'm guessing Trump knows something we don't, most likely surrounding Russia and China. Nobody in the media seems to want to do anything more than use it for shock value.
