I'm well aware of how good Brandon was as they did have a number of NCAA AA's. I remember reading about Easton trying to face them in the mid 2000s and Brandon doing what they could to avoid them. This was a big topic on the old message boards 20 years ago. Maybe my memory of it is off, but I can guarantee yours is too. That being said this all came about because someone claimed PSU was being like Brandon. PSU is legitimately the best team in the country. Brandon never was. PSU not going to the colligate duals has obvious hurt the feelings of some fans feeling the need to think that it someway delegitimizes PSU. It doesnt. They would love to see their programs beat a PSU team without its starters all ready to go thinking that it boosts their credentials when it doesnt. Easton was awesome and favored...A lot of folks wanted that to happen!!! Your memory is still in tact we do have a NCAA Tournament that lets the dust settle!!!
