Conservatives are really the type of people to vilify immigrants and others on welfare and say the government shouldn’t do any hand outs while gladly defending a multi billion dollar corporation who is a welfare queen

Perhaps you can't read.   I did not defend Walmart.   I in fact said, I have no idea about Walmart or the allegations made.   How is that defending Walmart braves?   I could say the sky is blue and you could say I am denying reality just like you did above.   Your allegation is not worth the digital ink it is written on.   Try reading and comprehending before knee jerking your keyboard and brain.

You have made several negative posts about Someone you know who would’ve better off without a pay raise and stay on benefits and that’s bad, but when Walmart uses government benefits to not pay as much to workers, you said those are the rules. It’s just interesting

The government picking the winners and losers is far from a conservative principal. Libs love to control behavior by taxing what they don't like and subsidizing what they do.  Limited government is the cornerstone of conservative ideology.

Weird how picking winners and losers is considered far from conservative when the conservative president keeps literally picking winners and losers lmao you can’t be serious

Show me that whatever they are doing is well known and being prosecuted because it is against the law.    If you can't then what I said is demonstrably true, whether that fits your political persuasion or not.   Get the law changed if you don't like it.   I still have no idea what you guys mean by walmart gets money so they can pay their people less.

The liberal president picked sustainable energy over traditional energy.   Who was picking winners and losers?

That is the problem when gov involves itself in the economy.    They want to pick winners and losers.   Let the market do that.

There’s against the law and not against the law. The magnitude to which fraud is happening in Minneosta (and many other places) is wrong and was obviously coordinated. Why is it so hard for libtardos to admit it’s wrong??!

But but but Biden. Trump is also picking losers and winners but it’s quite here when he does it

Are you saying that losing billions to fraud is an idea that isn't perfect?   I'd say so so most certainly. Walmart employees use $6.2B every single year. Money lost to fraud is bad and we should work to fix the system. Your solution to burn it to the ground does more harm than good.

Do you have a problem with welfare recipients capable of making 250% of poverty via government subsidies? If a family of two needs that much to, for a limited time, raise their standard of living so the children aren't starving and the parent can afford to do things to better their situation. SO THEY NO LONGER WILL NEED GOVERNMENT BENEFITS. I'm fine with that. Then you're going to say, 'well why would they work to get out of that situation if they get it for free?' I'll say, people are on SNAP benefits for less than two years on average. Because THEY DON'T NEED IT ANYMORE! Also, those benefits are not guaranteed. So they could slide back to abject poverty and starvation at any time. THAT is not a great place to live or raise a family. I know you can agree to that. So there is motivation to move up because 'living' like that is not an achievement.  If so, what impact does that have on working people who make less than that, say 200% of poverty? None. There is no impact. Unless they see a family that is struggling WAAAAAAY more than they are, getting a boost, and think that THAT family doesn't deserve it for some/any reason. They internalize it and feel like a victim. Are you suggesting they look at themselves as a victim despite not needing any help from the government?

If Walmart is doing that it is because they are getting gov benefits and those are the rules layed out.   A question arises, how much pay would they get if Walmart didn't get gov benefits? Upwards of $6.2B in pay. From a company that made $145B+ in profits in 2023. You are paying for their employees to eat and live.   I have no idea about Walmart or your allegation but I assume you know all about it.   Please inform. If that is true. Can you please just google something? Its not that much to ask. Just search for any opposing point on any topic and read a little bit.

Now you're changing the topic. It started with a family making such and such and trying to foment outrage about a family that very well could NEED the money to keep the lights on and food on the table.
You pivot to a huge corporation milking much more money in government aid by purposefully underpaying employees. But where is the outrage? Please don't tell us that 'you didn't know'? This has been widely reported for a decade now. They aren't being prosecuted because they use the $150B+ in profits to lobby government officials to not change the laws so they can continue suckling at the teet. That same teet you would kick families off of, if you had your way.

The liberal president picked sustainable energy over traditional energy.   Who was picking winners and losers?

That is the problem when gov involves itself in the economy.    They want to pick winners and losers.   Let the market do that.

Again with the 'own goal'. Why did you use the word 'sustainable' vs 'traditional'? The winner is ANYTHING that is sustainable. If traditional is not sustainable then it is a loser.

I’m fairly certain Biden didn’t pardon anyone convicted of fraud but if he did that sucks and shouldn’t have happened but trump for a fact pardoned at least one person convicted of fraud

I was speaking of Biden and Obama.   Obama famously said he was putting coal fired power plants out of business.   You don't get more overt than that.

Nobody here will explain the Walmart thing so I'm guessing there is no Walmart thing.
