Great choice.

We are half way there. Perry beat #1 Troy Letters in the 2005 semis before falling to Johnny Hendricks in the final. But he avenged that lose two years later by taking out #1 Hendricks in the 2007 final. His third victory over a #1 seed came the next year when he beat Eric Tannenbaum in the final.

Joseph took out the same #1 (Martinez) two years in a row in the final. Sadly he was denied the chance for a third in 2020 when he was the #2 seed. Lets call him an honorary member of the group (after all Marinelli was the #1 seed. I'm not sayin'. I'm just sayin'.)

Marinelli was what, 4-1 against Cenzo?

Do you really want to play the "Marinelli at NCAAs" game?

He lost to Lewis, Imar, Griffith, and Cam Amine when dinged up on the front side. What does that have to do with him owning Cenzo?

Marinelli was 4-0 against Evan Wick prior to the NCAA tournament. For your own mental health, I implore you not to look up his record against Wick in the NCAA tournament. He was 2-0 against Cam Amine in the "not the NCAA tournament". You already know about what happened next.

This was one of the reasons I'm a bit dubious of the "well we would have won," argument by Iowa. RBY, Lee, Joseph, Hall...I don't remember who else, but, not sure Iowa wins.

Iowa beat PSU by over 50 points at B1Gs and still beat a better PSU team the next year with a more injured team. It wouldn't have been  close

Oh...yeah, definitely. It's not like you have big swings from the B1Gs and the NCAAs.

How the 2022 B1G and NCAAs go?

Not to mention, Iowa ALWAYS thrives at the NCAAs!

Like I said, PSU wouldn't have been close, as proven by beating a better PSU team while not at full strength in 21

Yeah... I think you think I'm putting more weight on your 'yeah huh,' argument than I am...

But ok.
