Carter Starocci faces allegations of sexual assault and theft

Ruh roh, author of the article now using Minnow as a “source” for that Starocci is not part of NLWC.

Does that need to make us question his other sources?

Basch has brought up PSU haters multiple times to categorize those who are complaining about his coverage. That was practically the extent of what he said. Last time this topic was brought up, he called it a nothingburger 2-3 times, now he is simply saying he won't comment on allegations.

Yeah I had it on in the background and I think Basch hardly said anything.  Willie basically just recapped the article, and the history of Beau and his wife’s prior comments.  One thing he called out which was notable IMO is that the first accuser used the word “rape.”   From what I’ve seen, if the accuser doesn’t use the word “rape,” then there tends to be a higher chance the allegations are false (for example, when Dave Portnoy was recently accused of SA).  That obviously doesn’t mean allegations are false if they don’t use the word rape, or that these allegations are true, but that’s a very serious word and for her to use it gives her a bit more credibility IMO.

If CStar has been removed from NWLC this quickly after the article came out, I think it points to there being substance behind article.   I doubt Cael would remove the only 5x Champ in NCAA history only a few months after accomplishing that feet if this was a nothing burger.

Funny that Mark Hall's only response is to make sure everyone knows he's not a snitch.

This would be the time to say "I never saw anything and would've stopped it if I did" or "I condemn these actions if true"

Pat seems to be digging his hand pretty deep in there

I don’t specifically remember the coverage.  So actual question.  Does he have a point or no ??

Minnow was probably extrapolating from the article, making the author his own source.

I actually think it is a bad move to toss Carter from the NLWC.  It is almost like an admission of guilt.  "Yes we knew you were shady during the season, but no one else knew, so it was fine.  Now that this has come out publicly, we don't want to be associated with you!" They literally knew he was an alleged criminal during the season and were fine with it!

Having the only 5 timer is good for recruiting in the future no?

IMO, no.  Downey was complaining about Snyder too, and was claiming he was “canceled for telling the truth.”  But he also had sexual assault allegations at the time, which I think were more the reason for his suspension (IIRC they were ultimately dismissed).  Yet that’s not what Flo (nor most people for that mater) were mostly talking about in regards to him

Neither of them decided to mention how Cstar was assaulting teammates or bringing girls into the wrestling room. Basch said he won't speak on it. Terrible coverage. More complaining about people complaining that they suck at covering it bc they don't wanna lose access to PSU.

“Terrible” is harsh IMO, but I’m not sure why Willie would advertise going live about it and then not really have any commentary.

I wish they let Dylan Palacio on like he requested…
