isn’t there footage on their bodycams showing that they were assaulted?   Avg Joe citizen would be in the back of a cell by now.

Basing on what we saw transpire the last 4 years I would say definitely yes. "Book 'em Danno".

But is it your right to rough up or assault the security?  Was that added in the 32nd ammendment along with due process for illegal criminals?

If they broke the law for sure, arrest and prosecute.  If not, then no.   It doesn't matter who they are.

Here in Seattle, nobody would be arrested unless they are identified as Trump backers or other conservative types.   Then they would find themselves in the poky and not with an ankle bracelet that can be cut off.    They only use those for multi convicted felons.   It is wonderful here for sure.    Avg Joe Citizen around here is a liberal nut job or homeless drug addict who would absolutely get no consequence.

If anything, ICE was in the wrong for attempting to prevent sitting members of congress from exercising their required oversight duties.

You are a smart intelligent man. You were in the military, and you know all about protocols. There is a certain protocol in exercising those oversight duties. Because you're a mayor or congressman that does not exempt you from having to use those proper protocols.

So congress critters can violate any law in the land as per the constitutional oversight clause?  🤔

It looks that way, doesn't it? If you or I pulled that crap, we wouldn't be on this forum right now.

What law did they violate?

And, are there exceptions to this law?

Well they were trespassing but if you want to know ask the police department that made the arrest.

So, bad and embarrassing (illegal and unlawful) attention is better than no attention at all. Anything to get some TV time. They are acting like a bunch of spoiled teenagers.

There is a vid floating around where police are leading Aoc away … and it “looks” like she’s getting arrested as her hands are handcuffed behind her back and it looks like a perp walk.    Until she raises her left arm above her head.  She was faking it.   I’ll have to find. It’s recent.     Politicians are dirty.

No comments from the resident lefties.  @red viking or @Tripnsweep       Y’all staging fake arrests now ?   Wonder if modern politicians hate social media or streaming sites because it documents their utter bs constantly.
