I can't watch another year of Doucet!  Especially following after Hendrickson.  With DT's motto of "score points, Score points!" Doucet the complete opposite of scoring points, like Amine!  But at least Amine was able to AA.  Doucet will be a 500 wrestler.  Not the new standard in Cowboy nation!!!

No idea what the plan is but Vega looked like purede dynamite at the classic yesterday.  Might be an early big impact wrestler.

Vega is a hammer. One year in the room and he will be pushing for a starting spot. The kid just keeps getting better.

Any poke at the Poke's lineup next year, with Facundo, @ionel?

Expand

I can give it a shot with the roster as is, assuming no transfers

125: Spratley

133: Hughes/Sakamoto/McComas

141: Jamison/Swiderski/Hughes

149: Swiderski/Jamison/Travis

157: Travis/Swiderski/Robideau

165: Lockett/Facundo

174: Facundo/Lockett

184: Thompson/Merrill

197: Merrill/Thompson

285: Doucet

133-157 will all depend on how Jamison/Swiderski/Travis works out and I don't know who is what weight/can make what weight. I think the first name listed going straight down would be the most likely lineup if the roster doesn't change

Taylor had great things to say about Thompson at 184.

Edit: I could see him making a jump like Mendez had after going up to a better weight.

125 Walker

What about Crapps or Mauger?

133 Mendoza

141 Edmond

Any chance Roller here?

149 Transfer

157 Rath

165 Bambinelli

What is his status anyways right now?

I'd like to see Steed stay here, Sinclair to 74 and a healthy Hawks at 84.

174 Steed

184 Sinclair

The very young but dangerous Stanford:

125: Nico Provo
133: Tyler Knox
141: Aden Valencia/ Jack Consiglio
149: Aden Valencia/EJ Parco
157: Dan Cardenas
165: Hunter Garvin
174: Lorenzo Norman
184: Tye Monteiro/Luke Duthie
197: Brokton Borrelli/Brook Byers
285: Angelo Posada

Can Monteiro/Duthie make '74? Norman desperately needs to move up and he needs to fill out.

He had O'Toole on the ropes, but he gassed. Didn't he have to give up a stalling and 2 TDs for O'Toole to complete the comeback?

174 Steed

184 Sinclair

I just need to see Sinclair at '74. I don't think he's bigger than Sinclair. Lets go back to Askren, he's thicker in the chest, but Askren was a lot longer.

Haines is the favorite at '74.

'84 I think Sinclair is in the 4-5 range. Ferrari, McEnally for starters, they're just too long.

Arnold is basically build like Sinclair but...more muscle.

I'm always rooting for the next 4X Champ and I'd like to see one from Wisconsin. Mesenbrink was confusion about RT away, Sinclair, it's right there for him. And to be clear, the kid isn't going to look like Micic at '74. He'll look like...a normal '74.

Not sure if those guys can make it, but a few young hammers could. Still, I don't think Norman's gas comes from cutting weight.  Looks to me like he puts way too much pressure on himself and it wears him down.  I've seen this happen to other wrestlers.  Would explain why he kills top notch guys early in the season and then struggled down the stretch.

I wonder if they redshirt Swiderski to let young/teague wrestle their senior year since Casey got a medical for this season.

As an OKST fan, I would donate a lot to an NIL fund in order to NOT have to watch Carter Young wrestle another match in the cowboy singlet.

Agree my thought was more to keep as much eligibility as possible for when that 2026 class comes but that may just create a log jam.
