We see another side of Tom and Terry here.  The Eli Stickley documentary on B1G a few years ago first highlighted this side of Tom to me.

Craig Henning got screwed in the 2007 NCAA Finals.

Always stuff going on behind closed doors... Good to know he has come a long way this season.  I think that some programs and coaches have become so closed off that they share nothing, when a little info could go a long way. Not picking on just Iowa, but I think as a collective sport things gets silenced when it comes to injuries , which I get. But at the same time, it's really easy to say, "Gabe is dealing with some personal things right now and we thought best he not wrestle this weekend. We too are looking forward to having our guys compete. Right now it's most important for Gabe to not compete." I realize that causes some speculation, but it seems like silence sometimes invites a lot online theories that actually do more harm to the wrestler in question than any good. I remember a really good story that Ryan Milhoff shared about his struggles. Made me respect and root for that guy.

Honestly they get a bad rap on certain things.  Not on all things, but as far as the athletes on their squad, they seem to care DEEPLY about them.  They seem to struggle with if/when the relationship ends.

Maybe b/c they care so deeply, that they feel betrayed if someone moves on?

Hope the swine over at Mineo's board read this and feel a little regret about how they talked about Gabe after the Salute; maybe they even have a higher opinion on the twins?

Likely not.  Pond scum and his ilk are likely laughing about this, like Jimmy is.

Pick one.

Hmm interesting.  Hope he's doing better now.  We know Starocci's biggest strength is his mental game.

Wow, completely unnecessary comment.... Do better

Carter's definitely got some skeletons hidden deep deep deep in that closet.  He just is better about pushing it down.

Maybe, but there is a pattern.  I want it to be better.
