I know you’re trolling but I’m guessing the Brands probably aren’t thrilled that he’s pretty much training at PSU to prepare for the match against Lee

How do you think Lee would feel if Ono was being trained by the Brands for the match?

Is Ono too big to hold 125 consistently?

I’d guess he’d go 133.  In the video he said it was “easy” to make 59kg, but only said “maybe” to dropping to 57

If Oklahoma State's folks had a lick of sense, and they don't, they'd talking about Uetake's career at OSU and trying to get Ono to follow in Uetake's footsteps.

Ono's hero is Cael.  Uetake wrestling at Ok State happened like 60 years ago at this point...I don't think it has as much relevance now as you think.

The Cult of Cael runs deep within Ono.

In another thread I recall the general sentiment was that 190s are generally superior to HWTs!

Folkstyle on the brain syndrome:

A dysfunction prevalent among NCAA folkstyle wrestling fans that manifests with delusions regarding Senior Men's Freestyle wrestlers from foreign countries. These unshakable beliefs, completely detached from reality, include the idea that Senior Men's Freestyle wrestlers, including world champions, from what may be considered currently the most dynamic national team, would interrupt their international careers to enroll in US universities and compete in D1 wrestling at the university level. Some of the more delusional patients, many of which also experience anxiety, depression or hallucinations, participate in bizarre discussions and debates regarding which universities these international wrestlers would attend.

Ono isn't going to attend PSU, Iowa, or Oklahoma State.

He is at the NLWC. It's a good experience for him. Otoguro isn't going to attend Iowa. He is at the Hawkeye Wrestling Club. These guys are students of wrestling. They love the sport. They see the visit to a top-tier US Wrestling Club as a growth and learning experience.

Please seek professional help.
