Gilman vs. Ortega + Ok St vs. Iowa St Jan 26

Have there been similar exhibitions as part of collegiate duals in the past? Any involving coaches? Kinda wild, I love it though. Maybe they can add a couple more matches from their RTCs. Between this and Flo's event a month later, the state of Iowa is getting spoiled

As part of a Beat the Streets fundraiser, there was a Cal Baptist home match vs Iowa State which had a few senior level and youth level freestyle matches before hand.  The senior level match was Cal Baptist assistant coach Elroy Perkins who was faced off against Yahya Thomas.

Now that most duals have an intermission after the 157lb match (15 min. break), this would be cool thing to do during all intermissions at every college dual.

Nah. Need that time to pee, refill my drink, and get into a quick brawl with the gaffer. Oh and ice cream!

OSU is holding a women's exhibition match during intermission on Sunday during the WVU dual

During a recent Utah Valley dual - they had a high school match at intermission.  I'm glad that we're getting creative with this intermission period if it really is necessary for whatever reason.

JO wrestled (and beat IIRC) someone during the Lehigh dual, can't remember if that was this year or last year.

He lost control while attempting a tilt and got stuck on his back. I don't put much stock into this loss. And Vincent Robinson might just be that guy.

ncaa has to do something to get more fans in the stands - high level freestyle could be that thing that helps

I think they should let people from message boards apply to wrestle their message board rival in front of the fans during the intermission.

Didn't like it. Where was the mud? 

Just kidding. I didn't like how it disrupted the continuity of the dual. Couldn't it have been before during the scrub matches?

It wasn't as if Spratley was winning before getting stuck either

Believe it was 3 to 2 but Spatley was building rt and couldve rode out the 1st.   He is usually very strong in 2nd and 3rd period, got in a hurry and paid for it.
