I have heard rumors about Austin Desanto vs Austin Gomez as well seems like Flo is really trying to put on a great card here. Any matchups you guys would like to see? I would exclude the Russians I don't think its likely they get that done. I also doubt at that time of year they will be getting any college guys.

Spencer Lee vs present day Vito. The last time they met Vito wasn't his final form and this would be fun to watch + see where they stand against each other today, especially since Vito is unlikely to ever attempt 57 again.

The Vito that lost to Crookham 2x and went close with Blaze?

They need to get more than 3 matches in my opinion.   This is a great start though.  We need more of this, or more USA participation in the international tourneys.  Seems like a desert of wrestling action of late other than college.

I think Spencer is wrestling two tournaments in Europe prior to this bout.

We'll probably get a sense of how Lee vs. Vito would go based on the Ono match, even if it's transitive property logic. I'm looking forward to Valencia vs. Brooks but hope everyone goes at 100%. I guess it wouldn't be so bad to see guys open things up, but I wouldn't want to see it too loosey goosey either since the stakes aren't super high.

I literally could not care less about folkstyle results surrounding an injured world champ/2x medalist. But a quick refresher of what happened the last time Vito wrestled Crookham and he turned the treadmill off

They are going to expand the card I believe they have added a match each day hoping we get like 7-10 I would rather fewer high-quality matches than 15 and 10 of them are mediocre. The carr takatani match is fun but Im not sure how David stays on the mat with him if Takatani looks like he did at the olympics.

What about when he wrestled a nail biter vs a high school junior ten years younger than him?

My point is: Vito hasn't been at his best since his World title.  Hopefully this isn't his "final form"

That's not your typical HS junior. He might be repping on the senior level real soon. Like, soon-soon. It's a good problem for the US to finally have firepower and depth at the lower weights again.
