(2) Spencer now possesses an Olympic Silver medal which is an accolade that certifies his ability to be among the elite in the world. But all this is just conjecture, his talents may lie elsewhere and who knows what Spencer will want when he hangs it up.

Well he certainly placed the highest, and Spencer was only down by criteria until the very end, Brooks meanwhile had a semifinal match that many people thought he should have won, and I don’t know if anyone could have predicted that Yazdani would end up with a significant shoulder injury. But at the end of the day both Spencer and Aaron became Olympic medalists, and who was closest to a Gold medal is really a matter of opinion.
