Maybe he is deporting all of the illegal aliens from the west coast to Greenland (they have environmental there, dontchaknow?  It’s right in the name) and needs to send ‘em via the canal.  Then, the next batch that comes along at the border he will just put ‘em on a train to Canada who seems to love denigrating America whenever possible, you know, like allies do.  But first Canada must declare itself a sanctuary state and hate America even more than California does.  It’s all basic logic.

Notable that the antiwar president did NOT rule out use of military force to..."acquire"...Greenland (and the Panama Canal).  Also, the Greenlandic PM said, very clearly, that they are trying to become independent from Denmark, but that they are also not for sale to the US or anybody.

Is this any different than Argentina calling the island off its coast Las Malvinas and the UK calling it the Falkland lslands?

It has been known as the Gulf of Mexico for so long it really won't change.   How can a law change the name of international waters from an international standpoint?

Not much different than we call it Mexico and they call it Mejico.   Whatever.  I don't see the alarm here.   Who here honestly thinks we will get Canada as the 51st state?   That would be the biggest state in the union for sure.   I don't think that will happen.   Panama has to cede control of the canal.   I don't think they will as it is a cash cow.  As for taking over Greenland, I don't see that happening.   We might get access to their natural resources maybe.   Much ado about nothing.

I'm not concerned about the Gulf thing. Others just claimed he was trolling and not serious.  I am concerned about the Greenland/Panama Canal things.
