What does B1G stand for? Why the "G"?

It was for Big. They created a logo with the negative space forming and 11 when they added PSU. Then the shortened it to B1G.

Folks explaining the, "G" in B1G to Agave...:classic_dry:

Found @nhs67's heroin and a handle of Stolis or I would have addressed that earlier.

Improssibull!

My Heroin was gone by 8:00 PM Wednesday.

ahh ... but there's 18

B1G was made when it was 'only' eleven (11) schools.

After they expanded to 14 schools they pushed it again.  I have a few shirts from B1Gs in 2015 that has B1G on them.

I looked at this quick and thought it said a "handle of Stolls" and felt mildly ill because I thought it referred to Sam Stoll.

I thought it was stools.  Ya know fecal matter, turdbiscits ...

LOL.......how about B1G8 .....if this comes to fruition I'll be ticked......I remember years ago during one of the 45 NCAA's I've attended, I got ticked because every TV had March Madness on, and I told my buddies.....the heck with basketball.....we are here for March Matness, and a few years later you saw it in the media.

I think you are onto something there and you have good track record.

March Matness, eh?

I have a plastic cup from the concession stand from the 1994 NCAA wrestling championships @ UNC... with THAT on it!

Still have it in the cupboard as well... a little faded but still in one piece.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I watching that dual on ESPN+... 157 for Stanford. A freshman from California: Grigor Cholakyan.

Keep an eye on this guy... a fearless high flyer looking for the fall.

He won his first dual w/ a fall in :19 seconds. He won just now by a fall in the third period vs Kane Naaktgenboren Iowa St.

Exciting  wrestler... nice find by Chris Ayres!
