A lot is dependent on who sends their 'A' team or who sends partial squads.

For example, Ohio State's Bouzakis was just at U23s a week ago and Michigan has two incoming gents in Cardenas (who was at U23s as well) and Heindselman (who isn't enrolled - yet) that I don't expect to be there.

I think the most interesting wrinkle is if Blaze,Forrest,Bassett enter like they did last year. Blaze at 133 or 141 would be awesome I'd pick him to win 133 I think and at 141 dear god, Jesse is my pick but please let me see that match. Bo at 141 would be super interesting as well all three of those ranked guys hand fight hard so it would be nice to see him against guys that can match that.

I think I would prefer to see Bassett at 149, honestly.  Imagine 133 - 141 - 149 Forrest, Blaze, Bassett...

That said, I believe all three are registered for the Bill Farrell the following weekend.  Forrest is registered at 57 KG, too - at that.

Edit: As of right now, only Forrest is actually registered.

Was really surprised and honestly not thrilled with Forrest at 57kg unless it's not a cut for him at all. I'd like to see him let his body grow I think he only gets better the heavier he goes at least up to a certain point. I was really hoping for a Blaze Bassett match at Iron man so hoping blaze puts on a little size.

It might also be 57 KG +2, which they have done in the past there, which is ~130lbs.  He is freshly at 132lbs, so that isn't so bad, right?

#12 Nic Bouzakis, Ohio State- so highly touted out of HS , has yet to find real success at this level

I really think he needs to have big year , up and down last year

25-11,  with  7 of those wins coming  at  cliff keen (7-1 placed 3rd)

best win was probably  pin of  Kai Orine (NCST)

worst loss was to Dylan Ragusin(MIchagan) MD, 15-6

had a really poor showing @ the  big 10 tourney going 1-2 then 2-2 @ NCAA's

most recently went 0-1 @U23

In between U23s and NCAAs he dominated his way through the U23 trials.  I posted this response in the Wrestleoff Thread to that.
