That may be true.   MN was already in the tank for any one with a D after their name.   So picking Walz wasn't necessary to shore up MN with its massive electoral votes.   He's loud so Kamala can be quiet (statesmanlike).   He's a leftist so she can move to the middle and appear more moderate.   But no one should assume she has changed.   She is still the progressive leftist she has always been.   Biden pulled the trick on us by saying he would be moderate.   He got elected and wasn't moderate on hardly anything.   Harris has watched and learned.

You can fool some of the people some of the time.

Walz said, one person's socialist is another persons neighborliness.

Walz signed law that puts tampons in elementary school boy's bathrooms.

Walz signed law that allows abortion to the point of birth.   Also does not save the life of the baby if the baby is born alive against all odds.

Not a leftist?    That is the leftist playbook.

https://www.nationalreview.com/news/tim-walz-signed-bill-making-minnesota-a-sanctuary-state-for-child-sex-changes/

Dubbed the Trans Refuge Bill by supporters, the law grants legal protection to children who travel to Minnesota for so-called gender affirming care, including puberty blockers, reconstructive genital surgery, and hormone therapy, as well as the medical practitioners who provide it. The law prohibits Minnesota courts or officials from complying with child removal requests, extraditions, arrests, or subpoenas related to a child’s sex-change procedures received in Minnesota, even if they’re a crime in another state.

The law makes seeking gender-transition procedures for minors a factor in some assessments for whether a Minnesota court has jurisdiction to make an initial determination in child-custody cases. It also gives courts temporary emergency jurisdiction if a child comes to Minnesota from a state that refused them the procedures.

Not a leftist?    That is the leftist playbook.

Terrible choice. This guy adds absolutely nothing. It’s not JD Vance level bad, but she had an opportunity to almost guarantee winning PA and passed on it. This guy adds absolutely nothing, and for somebody still the underdog, that’s not wise.

She did what she was directed to do.   Pass up on the Jewish guy for a fellow leftist.   All the lefties are happy with this choice.   Not so sure about moderate Ds.   Not so sure moderate Ds are for Kamala either.   She is neither moderate nor a straight talker.   Her policy positions change with the breeze.   But once elected, her true colors will come out as they did in her VP days and Senate days.

“We have to stay woke,” she said, laughing. “Everybody needs to be woke. And you can talk about if you’re the wokest or woker, but just say more woke than less woke.”

Shapiro is credibly accused of helping cover up a murder on behalf of a family he has connections to. It would have been a major distraction.

"Credibly accused of." Nobody actually buys that it was a cover up. It's a specific murder case while he was the DA of the entire state. The guy has 60%+ approval in PA, where that case happened. Maybe you buy it, which is fine, but it's not an attack that would have actually mattered because it's nitpicking a single case from the DA of an entire state.

The bottom line is they let a huge opportunity go to waste-this decision makes it less likely that she wins.

they’ve won PA 7/8 times. they’ll be fine.

and you’re naive if you don’t think it wouldn’t have turned into a thing. he ruled a woman with 20 stab wounds, including many to the back of the head, committed suicide and has connections to the family of the fiancé. this image would have been all over the internet and tv all the way through november.

Just keep in mind that to win the election, it's not you that they need to win over. It's moderates-most of whom don't buy into conspiracy theories like what you're detailing here, but they do want to see candidates closer to the center. It's exactly why J.D. Vance was an historically bad choice. So the person that you like the most isn't necessarily the best person for winning. Kamala is a very progressive candidate, and she's the person who actually makes the decisions. She has done great, but adding somebody like Shapiro or Kelly would have been helpful to her goal of winning. If the goal is to trend on twitter, she made a great choice, but unfortunately it's not going to help much where it counts. It won't hurt her, but it won't be very helpful.

Tim Walz checklist

• Supported George Floyd Riots (Wife says she kept windows open so she could enjoy the smell of burning)

• Said he'd assist illegals in crossing

• Replaced state flag w/ Somalian flag

• Started a hotline to report on neighbors who didn't wear masks (that don't work)

• Endorsed Socialism

• Lied about his military rank

• Left his military unit when deployed

i just want to make sure you're all aware of this.

i'm 100% sure this will not change any of your minds. that's how unrelentingly tribal you are.

i'd have more respect if you all said 'listen, i just aint voting for the other side no matter what'

than trying to defend this bs
