Oh look.

A "capitalist" who owns no capital is here to defend capitalism.

How rare.

Capitalism is the private ownership of public property.

Why, oh why, if capitalism is sssssssoooooo infallible, does it require a socialistic bailout every few years?

...would you take it to me that your response struck me as rather bizarre.

Is English your first language?

Be careful with your answer, the king in waiting might execute you...

you give the impression of someone who doesn't know they are pontificating to an empty congregation.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to talk to me either if I were you.

The vast majority of people in the United States of America read at about an 8th grade level.

I'm sure that's the case for you...

you could have left out the last sentence and the implication would have been clear.

sense i assume it wasn't in confidence, this is what @three_arrows just sent me privately.

"I'd be glad to keep knocking your dick in the dirt.

But, unfortunately, I've made it to the end of the amount of posts I have for a single day on this most august site.

It seems I may have wasted them on blithering ***I am an idiot and can't use a better adjective***s, unfortunately.

I look forward to, literally, smacking the shit out of your mouth in the very near future, pussycake.

I don't live on the site, my kids and my spouse love me and I'm living an actual life.

So it likely won't be tomorrow, but who knows.

It could be in a week, or in 3 weeks, or maybe just next week.

Maybe even tomorrow.

But rest assured, young lady.

I'll be back to blister your capitalist bootlicking ass.

Soon. 😉"

agree, rasta.

one thing i'm consistently left scratching my head about is...

why don't the people come together and say 'we'll vote you out unless you...'  ??

imo, the smartest thing we, as constituents can do is say

'if this congress doesn't vote for term limits, all of you will be voted out immediately.'

i hate to sound like an old curmudgeon, but the power is in the peoples' hands. the people are just too stupid/lazy for them to execute it.

I feel like we’ve never been so close…

These are exactly my thoughts. We bitch and whine and moan, but we the people have the ultimate power to execute term limits, if we want to do the different and difficult things to execute them.

term limits are a problem rooted in incentive structure. "its good to be the king"

Term limits would require amending the constitution and is one of the subjects of the Article V Constitutional Convention agenda.

a) it doesn't "require"

b) to answer the question: high taxes and pro-unions. both of which are hallmarks of the idiotic left

Pro-Union is one of the "hallmarks of the idiotic left"?

Are you sure about that?

I ask for confirmation because that, even from you, seems super stupid - and I mean SUPER stupid.

"Husker_Dipshit_Du" seems to be striking again... right at the Unions this time.

So dumb.

Capitalism doesn't, corporatism (when the government colludes with corporations) creates positive feedback loops that leads to real estate crisis' and the government subsidizing the crappiest electric cars, etc...

Are these the people doing all of the legitimate oppressing?

Good decision making should be penalized in order to achieve equity.  We could take their money and give it to others.  That is a novel idea.

Wow - such a lack of awareness. It's OK to not understand. But it's not OK to linger there.

Ask questions. Better yourself. It's the point of a shared forum. We all improve because of it.
