Who wins Olympic gold @ 57kg, 65kg, and 74kg?
Easiest answer is Russia.
Most reasonable is:
57kg nobody knows
65kg nobody knows
74kg Dake or Sidakov most likely

Are there any recent results that suggest Dake is better than Sidakov at this point?  Or are we just hoping he has closed the gap?

My optimism comes from how close their match was and Dakes ability to make adjustments as well as the NLWC room. If I could bet him over +170 I will probably be doing so but anything under that and I think sidakov is the smart money.

I am not surprised to see all the US gents 'favored' on this US bbs.  Not at all.

"I know actually nothing.  It isn't even conjecture at this point." - me

Dake has a lot of close matches.  But can he go out and get his own points against Sidakov? Sidakov also controls the center, handfights well, and doesn't appear to tire as easily as Dake.

When he went down in their first meeting he almost instantly went and got a takedown. However, after that Sidakov got two more of his own. I really think Kyle needs to open up against him or he will not win. Sidakov has beaten him once now and borroughs twice in final exchange matches and prior to those losses JB was probably the most clutch wrestler ever. I do not think you want that guy chasing you down in a 1 score match with 20 seconds left/

Hope Dake tries not to head pinch guys like Sidakov... results will not be optimal for him.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

No but I voted Dake because he's more likely to be there

surprised i was the only one that voted bekzod.  i guess he is oldish at this point

I think zhamolov won the spot at the last ranking series by beating the guy that beat bekzod. If sidakov cannot go I think both guys are certainly in the mix.
