#4 (Beard), #5 (Dean), #6 (Warner) wrestlers ahead of him all have at least one loss.  #5 Dean lost to Laird head to head.

Why isn't Laird ranked higher?  I would have him at 4 or 5.

Please enlighten us, oh master of nonpayments, with your Top 33 197lbers... in order?

why oh why

isn't kansas state in the playoff and ranked ahead of tcu?

Dean's lost less matches than KState has lost games.... that's probably why.

This points to a nit pick of mine. I know Flo likes to say their rankings are not ratings or predictions. But then they sometimes are.

To me the most glaring example is their team tournament rankings. They come up with their scores by assuming their rankings are where each wrestler will finish thereby turning their ranking into a prediction. Minor point, but that is my especiality.
