can you seriously not understand how stupid the quote in the tweet is?

take a glass of water that’s 97% full (this is Earth’s natural emissions pre-industrial revolution). then pour another 3% in so that the glass is filled to the brim and starting to spill over (this is the added human emissions post industrial revolution).

the 97% DOES impact climate change. it’s the increased human emissions on top of this baseline normal emissions that is slowly raising average temps.

It’s just old fashioned de-industrialization.  Some folks are against their own comfort and prosperity.

Yes. All of  those climate folks should turn off their air conditioner's, turn off their gas heaters or heat p, pumps, they should get rid of their cars and ride bikes or walk. Instead of flying either walk or row a boat. The ones with multiple houses need demolish them and live in one small 1200 sq ft  house. Any product that requires petroleum to make or build , which is just about everything must be discarded immediately.

That would mean computers and semiconductors for those computers.   In other words, no more digital world.   If we are to really do something, it would be to go back 200 years and live as they did when population was much less.

Without the industrial revolution:

1.  No world wide communication

2.  No world wide ease of travel.   Both jet and car.

3.  No world wide use of computers and internet.

4.  No life saving drugs and procedures and machines.   Have to get rid of all those plastic O2 machines grandma uses to breathe with.

5.  No huge crop yields.

6.  No clean water out of a tap.   Chemicals used by municipalities to clean the water are provided by petrol use.

7.  No plastic or rubber anything - boats, kayaks, backpacks, tents, boots, running shoes, no tires, no innertubes (so bikes are out), and no riding lawnmowers, chainsaws, mills, breakfast cereals etc.

8.  No EVs, because of the enormous amount of energy provided by petroleum to make said EVs and their batteries.

9.  No metal or composite roofing.   Back to thatch and cedar (maybe not cedar as it takes machines to make those shakes).

10.  No modern music or movies or TVs that takes electricity to play, to record, to distribute.   Granted we don't need rock and roll, movies, or TV but it is fun and entertaining.

11.  No air conditioners, those are the first to go.

12.  No heaters, they run on gas, oil, and electricity.  All of these sources are bad.

13.  No electrical generation except by sun or wind.  Oh wait, those items are essentially composites and are made by the use of petrol so they go away too.

Just a few of the things everyone will have to sacrifice to get to net zero.   Essentially the push for the end of fossil fuel use will herald in a catastrophe of human death and misery on a scale that we as a world have never known.   All of the above things have made a difference in the lives of billions and allow billions to live.   Get rid of them and we are back over 200 years ago doing majority subsistence living.

The climate alarmists really don't know what the logical end to their wishes go.   Above is a short list.

Thanks you did a much better job with your list. The liberal media is very powerful. Liberals think that we humans are responsible for 70  to 80 percent of the carbon that is released into the atmosphere when it is only 4 percent.

I say give everyone 40 acres and an axe, let's see how many survive to complain about climate change.

You can have it.  Best make sure you get a bit of Central Park &/or river front in your 40 for firewood and fishing.  Gonna need that wood for heat when they shut off the power and to make your fishing pole.

Personally I want a remote US 40 ac.  No desire to be in the middle of 1.5M axe welding hungry people. 😯

Why would you need an ax? Are there any trees still there?

Desks, bedframes, cash money.  Lots of stuff to burn for fuel.  Some of the desks are more than a ton of Ghanaian mahogany, what can't I do with that?

Unable to read the replies, but a simple observation is we move billions and billions of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere annually.

Lots of places to hide.  3 dimensional compared to the paltry 2 dimensions of a rural area.   More rats and cock roaches than a man can eat.   This ain't my first rodeo.
