And that's the problem, they are taking us back to things that are probably worse.  Pretty sure wood burning is already banned in places.

Here we have burn bans.   And that includes wood stoves unless that is your only source of heat.   WA also just passed a law that eliminates new gas hookups and allows the nat gas folks to ween us all off gas.

climate cultists are immune to facts.

Is it a hoax if you are too stupid to understand physics, facts, relative risks, basic logic, that others have different priorities, etc?  If you identify that the earth is about to stop existing due to all human economic activity since Prometheus gave humans the knowledge to harness fire then it is not a hoax.  It is their truth.  Wrong but "true".  Which is possible in their cult world.

Is it any wonder that the correlation between being a climateer and the belief that men menstruate is very close to 1?  WKN probably can give us the R-value.

Finding a vulnerable Indonesian trans sex worker just does not seem as edgy and "dirty" as it once did.  I don't think global warming is the problem.  I think it is more of a "ho hum, transes here, transes there, transes everywhere, so now who cares?" mentality.

This chart shows how expensive wind and solar energy are if you include all the costs:

There is much, much more at the link. Wind and solar developments have been sold on the basis of financial claims that are outright fraudulent. We can hope that one of these days, “greens” will be held accountable in court.

Good grief. I wonder how they are able to keep all this data buried. From what we are told you would think the graph would just the opposite.

The physics claims are outright fraudulent also.  On both ends of the hoax - that the earth is about to cease existing and that their "solutions" are the only salvation.  Remember, they are lying only to the people who want to believe them.

They know that people who are numerate, logical, and have a grasp of physics principles see through the fraud.  However, the mix of do-gooderism (say-gooders), mob mentality, and social pressure, and governmental force can overcome facts . . . up to the point where reality slaps the idiots in the face.

Fossil fuels are quite energy dense. This is a fact. We've advanced the technology from coal and steam to cleaner burning fuels from petroleum.

When we moved to cars and away from horses. Cities got cleaner. Less horse manure and fewer dead horses. More exhaust and smog. So we traded one negative for another.

Now we realize that 125 years of that new negative has and IS causing a ripple that will undeniably change the way we live on this planet.

With that being said, if it could solve or mitigate the problem brought on by fossil fuels, should we not explore alternatives regardless of today's cost? Considering how cheap it could be in the future considering how incredible our threshold for advancement is at this point.

Can you give us a run down of what is really happening?

We should explore alternatives of course.   But to mandate their implementation when their costs are at their highest and reduce the implementation of reliable and cheap sources of energy is foolhardy.

WA just passed a law that tells Puget Sound Energy (PSE) to stop hooking up natural gas to new construction.   But not only that, it incentivizes PSE to cut off service of natural gas to whoever they care to do it to.   It is a strange bill to target just one energy company in the state.  So here is the result.   PSE gets to raise prices to make this happen.   PSE has hundreds of thousands of natural gas customers that heat their homes and water with natural gas.   When they cut off nutural gas to those folks, they will be forced by state mandate to ditch their furnace and water heater and purchase electric units, which no doubt will escalate in price.   Then, that can't be done because the electric service is not sufficient to run those units so PSE will necessarily have to increase their service to these houses for 30k each maybe.   So for PSE this is a win win win.   For the consumer this is a lose lose lose.

This is what government mandates create.   It is the law of unintended, or intended, consequences.   FWIW - I just bought a new gas furnace a few months ago and I'm concerned it will have to be trashed soon if this doesn't get reversed.   There are efforts now to get an initiative going to delete this law.  It was just signed and I'm not sure of when it actually takes effect.   If you doubt this you can look it up, it is known has House bill 1589.

Anticipatory climate change.   The earth knows I tell you, the earth knows.

It is a well known fact that tectonic plates shift at the mere thought of climate change.   This action increases when there is real climate change.   Just look at the major increase in earthquakes over the last 20 years compared to the rate before that.

Graph

High CO2 concentrations push down on the earths crust which puts undue pressure on the tectonic plates.   Since they float on magma, they shift under this load and cause climate change earthquakes.    The sex workers in Indonesia are the  most concerned about this for sure.

Don't forget the MAGA impact on the magma.

First we had earthquake cooling.  Then earthquake warming.  Then earthquake change and earthquake crises.  We simply need a global day of transquake visibility and all will be OK.

If Barney the T-Rex had not driven his Hemi-engined SUV and instead used windmills to power a Tesla then Yellowstone never would have quaked then volcanoed and the world would be a better place.
