Max Brignola over Julian Ramirez in the finals of the Mat Town Open

Brignola now has 3 top 16 wins and is undefeated this year would probably be ranked 5th or 6th depending on where the website you look at has Sasso. Stanich would also likely be ranked 5th. Lehigh would go from earning a projected zero points at those two weights to potentially 25-30+ I think when you add that in with Crookham,Beard,Trephen and potentially some points at 125 its going for be very hard for them to keep those guys in redshirt.

#14 Cooper Flynn, MN over #5 Tanner Jordan, SDSU 7-2.

Minnesota is stomping the jackrabbits today. We look completely outclassed.

was Millard an AWA kid?

Yes...and he was a stud. He was overshadowed by the Sinclair, Hopke, Mirasola kids, but...he was right there with them.

This just in- Minnesota has a very solid team, top to bottom. I do not know how they will do those only three days that matter, but they will be a tough team to beat in a dual. Everytime I watch them wrestle, I come away more impressed. South Dakota is damn good team and they were beat 9-1 matches today. The only loss was a 2-0 DeVos over Whiting.

Their dual meet margin this year so far is 148-6, and that's all D1.

That is 38-2 dual meet individual matches. The two matches lost (both by Whiting) were 2-0 and 11-9. Like I was saying, very solid top to bottom!

Not so sure it matters, but in the context of AWA, Hopke is not one of them.  I am sure you knew that, but others reading might not.

Yeah, I suppose it did sound like I was grouping them all together as AWA kids.

Stewart with another early in-season loss to Utah Valley's Uhlenhopp - who was 6W - 4L on the season.

wonder if he's injured.  he doesn't have the some burst he had last year.

If he’s injured why wrestle at CKLV?  Seems eerily similar to Ventresca last year
