Owner of over two decades of the most dangerous words on the internet! In fact, during the short life of this forum, me's culture has been cancelled three times on this very site! For cost cutting measures, they were kept a central library for the entire school district. My parents were demanding mil levy increases to give every library in the district a copy of every book ever published, but they were unsuccessful. Back to the conversation. They weren't banned because you just had to order a day or two in advance. They were still in the card catalogue. I remember fondly waiting for my turn with the thermodynamics refrigerants textbook.
