This isn't public knowledge yet but this is going on behind the scenes rn....

JR Worlds are in Poland and Poland recently (like in the last couple days) said they will not allow RUS or BLR in.

UWW tells them they have to but apparently POL isn't budging at the moment.

They (UWW) are looking for solutions. I'm told UWW won't cancel JR Worlds. They are looking at other locations.

Kazakhstan, Aman Jordan, or Azerbaijan.

Keep in mind, most of our delegate would have to get Visas to these places.

Not that anyone’s asking me, but why not UAE? Americans get a free visitor visa when they arrive, and it’s a surprisingly affordable place to visit.

Not like they wrestle outdoors. They held beach worlds in Qatar a few years ago. Dubai has air conditioning in their bus stops and plenty of easy transit to all of the Emirates and Oman. The UAE would be pretty awesome. I went there in the summer and the weather wasn't bad.

Is Russia allowed to compete at the world level at every age class except seniors?

I didn't need to get a visa beforehand when I went to Nur Sultan in 2019. Added bonus: the women there are pretty easy on the eyes. VERY NICE!!!

And if this complicates travel for our European counterparts, I'd just refer them to the immortal words of Victoria Nuland...

I don’t expect them (POL) to change that decision, ever. That country hates Russia.

Little story. My wife’s grandmother is from Poland, near the Belarussian/Ukrainian border. She’s in her late 90s, nearly blind, and senile. Thinks my 4 month old is 3 years old, thinks my wife is her sister, etc. But if you want to get a moment of absolute clarity from her, find a video of someone speaking Russian and play it nearby. She’ll spit on the ground and start cursing in multiple languages. Polish, Urdu, Hindi, Spanish, etc. She and her sister, mother and grandmother were captured by the Russians and spent time in a Siberian gulag during WWII. Lost a finger and gained a really crappy tattoo.

When the war ended they were released and traveled from Russia, through Kazakhstan, to Pakistan, then India, where they boarded a ship for Mexico. Lived in Mexico City for a year or two before ending up in Chicago.

It’s not just the old Polish people. I worked with some Polish dudes on the far side of the world who said that they were itching to take some Russian scalps. They had never been personally injured by them, but hated Russia and Russians. Bobcia’s stories must’ve been pretty effective.

Will Israel even be allowed there?

You can cross the border with minimal hassles. The Jordanian government has mostly worked out their differences with the Israeli government years ago.

thats why Lalovich changed places. Because Poland hates Russia. It was a great decision! I love it! It's time to change Finland U23 world too. We fallow wrestling or hate each other? I hope we love wrestling and don't care about why did grandmothers and grandfathers find themselves in Mexico in 19th-20th century. Peace
