With the internet at your fingertips, you again choose to spout easily researched and refuted falsehoods. Why?

Domestic oil production has increased, on a three month rolling average, every month since Biden took office.

Look at his first months in office.  It dropped so much that with your three month rolling average it hasn’t quite reached pre-biden levels yet.

That does not appear to be true.

10 million barrels per day, average, in February 2021. Currently at 12.4+.

The economy kept up with QE since 2008, and was growing again right up to the day biden took office.  When he shut down the pipeline, drilling, fracing, and permitting, the economy couldn’t keep up anymore.  If you notice, biden eased up on oil production restrictions recently ,and amazingly, inflation started backing down.  For now, this world runs on oil.

Donald Trump wasn’t entirely blameless, he resisted the shutdown from the start but caught hell and gave in.  He did stay true enough to leave it to the states to decide.  That’s why New York, California, and Michigan, were so different than Florida, Georgia, and Texas.  As I recall, virtually every country in the world shut down, except Sweden.  The reports coming out now of all the fraud that was perpetrated on the people over the ‘pandemic’ are blood curdling.  It will be told in history books but I doubt there’ll be any accountability.

The oil production and everything associated with it is too complicated to even put on this forum and way over your head.

oh ffs. Biden himself brags about limiting oil production any time he gets a chance. he literal shut down projects then bragged about it. on day 1.

domestic oil production has gone up almost zero. yes, a plus, but insignificant.

especially when all you leftist goons say 'oil prices are a global problem'

it's not a effing global problem when your country has more than enough resources to serve itself

you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that when global oil supplies went down, the minute increase in domestic wasn't going to be enough to cover it.

but here you are again, being disingenuous and defending utterly stupid decisions b/c of your allegiance.

When we pull production off the global market it causes the same increase in prices as when anyone else does.  Biden tried to placate the greenies by cutting production here and begging Saudi and russia and venezuela to increase production.  It didn’t work.  In fact, now that he’s opened up a little, Saudi has cutback.  This is keeping putin flush with cash in spite of biden’s efforts to sanction him to death.

you can't be effin serious.

is gas that expensive in other oil-rich nations? lol

or in other oil-rich nations is it not a global market?

it's only a global market for the U.S.?

Dictators tend to make their gasoline cheap to their subjects.  I think it was ten or twenty cents a gallon after Chavez kicked the Americans out.  Soon after, bread was $40 a loaf, though.

Serious about the obvious?  Some countries are more, some less.  It is a global market everywhere.

Again: the numbers don't back up your assertion that oil production hasn't reached Trump numbers. There were plenty of monthly numbers well below what is being produced under the current administration. And, Willie's assertion that Biden "closed pinched" oil production is demonstrably false.

Has it matched peak production during the Trump administration? No. But unless you want the US Government to take control of oil production, oil companies aren't going to produce more than they can sell, and sell profitably. They also want to maximize profits, and make up for losses during the Trump administration when they were selling oil at a loss. The peak of oil production under the Trump administration was followed by one of the biggest losses the modern oil market has ever seen in April/May 2020. Oil prices went negative. Too much on the market.

Scroll to the bottom. Raw numbers.

jfc. i hope this is sarcasm.

the US has so much oil the global market means ZERO. ZERO.

the same effing way no foreign/global happenings mean anything to the UAE, etc.

every last one of you who let Biden (who BRAGGED) off the hook for oil prices are partisan stans.

Yes, oil production fluctuates on price, but the effect of everything pre-biden kept fuel prices low.  Biden’s shutdown was not a fluctuation, it was a manipulation that hurt Americans and helped putin.  And china.  The folks who gave him millions of dollars.

Here is the simplistic version of what happened

Trump pressured the Saudis to produce more oil thus driving down the gas prices and gas prices went down. Note that it also put a strain on the US oil as that cut into their profits.

Covid hit and since no one was travelling there was an excess amount of oil/gas out there and prices plummeted more.

Once that happened the US drilling started shutting down due to... LACK OF PROFITS. The combination of the Saudi's making more oil and covid caused this.

That lead to less oil/gas production and thus gas prices going up again, you know the supply and demand thingy.

US Oil production is up since Biden took office, that is a fact. The drilling that shut down has slowly started back up, but that takes MONEY and TIME. There is very little need for more drilling operations and permits as we have more than enough out there than we can currently utilize.

Sorry for wasting your time, you weren't going to change anything you feel about the subject anyway. Maybe you could get away from Fox News and listen to trusted industry insiders. Of course that wouldn't be as fun when you can't blame it on one person.

Yeah, you still don’t know what you’re talking about.
