And so this is where it all starts to fall apart.
You can't be seen as being for real justice in this case because of all the cases you've ignored or downplayed or made excuses for or, let's be honest, you laughed at because you don't take this subject too seriously. Why would you?
It doesn't affect you.
You know why it doesn't affect you? Because you've never cared enough to ask anyone. 81% of women have report to have experienced so form of completed or attempted sexual assault or sexual harrassment. That's more than 4 of 5.
You may care very much but this subject is so intense that to even think about broaching it seems too daunting. I get it.
But why don't we support them? Why don't we believe them?
You're all shackled to the fact that you defended or continue to defend a rapist and now you either don't care to move to the right side or you won't give the other side a 'W' by admitting you were wrong.

I think its for a similar reason why the police are looked at from both extreme ends of the spectrum. Back the blue. They do a hard job and need the benefit of the doubt. Regardless of whether they are responsible for holding their own accountable and it is rarely a transparent process.
Or
Cops protect other cops. That's the unwritten rule. Back the blue. If you don't actively support the police you could find yourself in a situation that reminds you of how much passive authority the police could have on your life. This is true of elected officials as well as members of the public. If a cop wants to make your life miserable they can and not get in much trouble for it either.
Similarly, cops must back their buddies. If they don't then bad things could happen.
Isn't that awful to think about? You must support a person even if you know they're guilty or corrupt because if you don't they could find a way to kill you or worse. If for no other reason then they don't want to be caught and go to jail themselves.
Do we listen to the people that are victimized by this group the most? Nope, we sure don't. Because if reform comes to the police then those groups that feel and ARE most protected by them will aggressively push back.

I think its similar in the case of rape in general and the Cornell 7 in particular. Men with a history of questionable interactions with women and cowards are hesitant to call out other men. I think because they fear either retribution, the cowards, or someone pointing out that they have done similar things. So rather than owning up to it, apologizing, facing the consequences, and making a better world they stay silent or aggressively work to defend predators and attack their victims. Which also means they attack supporters of victims. Anyone that might work to shed light on their sketchy past by holding accountable the sex pests of the present.

Nobody here cares unless its one of the 0.00001% committed by a tranny in a woman's restroom (or a non white illegal alien). White cis males can do whatever they want. Especially our pedo prez.

Weird how it doubled after the "Me too" movement

In summary: The most recent national data indicate that about 21% of U.S. women have experienced completed or attempted rape in their lifetime, and 45% have experienced some form of contact sexual violence, with additional large shares reporting harassment and other sexual violence National Sexual Violence Resource CenterNational Sexual Violence Resource Center+1. These figures are the best available national estimates for the period before and after #MeToo, as they are based on the same survey methodology.

Or anyone that felt they got 'come on to' came out.  Actually 4 times.

Please distinguish:   the new 77% that thought they were raped by words.

Verbal sexual harassment (most common, reported by 77% of women in 2018 data)

weird they are "ALL Rapists"  according to the OP

Would you look at that.

We've got a "Premium" subscriber questioning victims of rape. That is just flat out awful.

Hey - Premium moron. Maybe start by asking questions.

There will be plenty of time to make accusations after you've asked questions and started a dialog.

Crazy the amount of people I’m seeing defending these Cornell dudes.

Now that Letitia James is investigating, surely this number is going to increase.  Has been mostly conservatives that I’ve seen.

To be fair the group being sued is pretty diverse.   It’s certainly possible not all of them are guilty, but I’ve been seeing a lot of victim blaming online, almost entirely from the right.

BELIEVE WHICH SURVIVORS?

Driving down a Twin Cities highway on Friday evening, I saw a group of four or five people standing on an overpass, holding a sign that said “Believe Survivors.” They evidently referred to Cornell’s Jane Doe, the Left’s heroine of the moment.

It is hard to imagine what would lead anyone to spend a Friday evening standing on a highway overpass to support Jane Doe, who happily signed up for a threesome and later wrote that she had enjoyed it. What she survived, mostly, was a hangover. Maybe they were paid to peddle the Democrats’ latest message, or maybe, since the weather was fine, they were foolish enough to do it for free.

It is interesting to consider the survivors for whom liberals do and do not have sympathy. Thus, here in Minnesota, we had the case of the 12 year old girl who was repeatedly raped by an illegal alien. Tim Walz and Keith Ellison pardoned the illegal alien to prevent him from being deported. (Happily, he was deported anyway.) That 12 year old wasn’t the kind of “survivor” that liberals have in mind.

Then, of course, there are the women who don’t survive. Laken Riley, for example. My own Congresswoman, Angie Craig, voted for the Laken Riley Act but then said, during her unsuccessful campaign for the U.S. Senate, that she deeply regretted having done so. Laken Riley didn’t live to be a sexual assault survivor.

So pardon me if “Jane Doe” isn’t at the top of my list of “survivors.”

To everyone here - Do NOT click links that ends in .PHP like the one from Offthemat's post above.

It isn't a web page, it's a "script" that should not be trusted that is intended to run on your computer if you click it.

Maybe it is fine, maybe it is not. And that's a roulette game nobody should choose to play on the internet.

Especially from sketchy characters like Offthemat.

Note: I disabled the link that was posted in my reply above. The original link from the poster SHOULD have been either blocked or disabled automatically when it was posted by the site's security software. (They should really fix that.)

Guys, I have no idea what lobster is talking about, I have clicked on the link and it goes right to what I posted.  But I have heard that schizophrenia often accompanies paranoia, so there is that.

Calling out the girl's behavior is not defending the men.  The girl, the 7, and the 7's peers on the wider chat are all a problem.

This is 100% victim blaming: What she survived, mostly, was a hangover

Have you read the full statement she gave to the DA (let alone the Cornell police)?  Would probably be tough to prove in a court especially rape, but I don’t think there’s any question a sexual crime was committed against her.

Probably genocide.

You’re a victim blamer.  Gross.  Not surprised that almost everyone I’ve seen do this is on the right. Kinda like the majority of actual antisemites.
