Diesel is 6.69/gallon here in the Seattle area and that's the cheapest. Of the amount over the national average, part of that is due to the oil prices, most of it is due to the CO2 tax WA has. WA gas and diesel are way higher than in Idaho or Oregon. mspart

Bud, we are driving that national average up by our extreme high cost. It would be quite a bit cheaper if not for the artificial CO2 tax that the state put on all of us. national average for diesel = 5.85 WA lowest for diesel 6.69. I saw on my way to work 6.99 for diesel. And not long ago it topped above 7 bucks a gallon. I have not seen above 7 here but I don't get around a lot. mspart Edited September 4 by mspart

I can share my experience. When oil goes up, gas prices immediately go up same day. When oil goes down, it takes some weeks for gas prices to drop. mspart 1

I agree with most all of this minus supporting this Iran was bullsh*t. Flock cameras are a major intrusion on our civil liberties and are certainly not there to "keep us safe."
