America and American citizens benefited nothing from this conflict. We lost a lot of money, we lost a lot of respect around the world, we lost American soldiers.  Hundreds of children lost their lives as well.  We did take out a few extremist crazies, only to be replaced by new ones, and created more. The talk about keeping them from a weapon is just that…talk.  This conflict had zero impact on that.   This was a shit show from day one, and there’s nothing to say it’s actually done yet.

The Iranians were utilizing Russian and Chinese weapons for their defense.  The world has now been put on notice that we have no problem defeating these systems.  China is now being deprived of discounted oil, and it’s likely that it’s ambitions on Taiwan are being rethought.  To understand the overall effect and find an honest evaluation of the results of this engagement you will need to get outside of your personal little bubble and find something that entails a larger geopolitical sphere.
