Starocci bad sportsmanship?

During today’s Indiana match Starocci and Washington had a LOT of words as the match ended and needed multiple coaches from both sides to keep them from throwing hands. As he left he mat Starocci kept pointing at Washington and jawing. I was surprised by this display of poor sportsmanship by Carter because he’s usually so calm and collected. 

Wondering if anyone knows what is going on here?

Don't know about that but there are posters on these here boards with a lot of words and many readers don't know what's going on there.

All the shade thrown at Starocci,  Washington started crap after Ethan Smith beat him.  Even if he is a tool at least Carter is backing up.

So what was the Washington crap after the smith match?

The one common denominator between Washington, Smith and Starocci is… Washington.

Smith and Starocci had a good match, shook hands and got on with their lives.

Now, was Starocci frustrated by Washington, and maybe pushing the bounds of legality with those chicken wings? Yeah. I didn’t like that. But the match was over and Washington was the one who started running his mouth first.

Starocci lost to Washington in the first dual of his freshman year and it was the only loss he's never avenged. He took it too far with the extracurriculars and I don't blame DJW for getting pissed but he also has to love that he's been living rent-free in Starocci's head all this time.

Just embarrassing for Starocci...  Imagine getting so worked up over a guy who upset you two years ago and poses no threat to you. Didn't DJW get pinned by an NAIA guy earlier this season? No disrespect to the NAIA but this is NCAA Division 1 wrestling.

At least it’s give wrestling fans something to chat about, but is kinda petty on both parties. Starocci is a talented wrestler with a great career, keep it rolling the future is bright. DJW needs to focus his energy on the 2nd & 3rd periods of a matche and cut the after match bs. DJW does an amazing job of disrespects himself in the 2nd & 3rd period of every match Ive watched him wrestle.
