Yea I looked at the wrong date/time. I didn’t think they did anything until tomorrow just saw people talking about Bouzakis and others and wondered what I was missing.

I predict Ethan Stiles outperforms e'Than Birden at 74 KG.

Birden two wins from Swiderski. Stiles in the same half of a giant bracket...

Stiles in a brutal quarter... Ruiz, Evans, Root, amongst a few others.

He'll earn his shell today if he places.

Spratley has a tough one out the gate, but should cruise to the quarters from there (Max Gallagher) then possibly Kilkeary in the semi-finals.  Top half looks weaker compared to the bottom half.

Hoping to see Stinson do well here.  He is bottom half and has Cruz (Iowa) to get to Kilkeary.

That is if they win the in-between matches

Nicky B looks to have a cake walk to the spot at 61 KG.

Not much to say about 65 KG.

I was hoping to see a few U20 guys enter.

Manville likely wins, but probably doesn't matter as everyone assumes Basset somehow develops the formula for transwarp beaming and magically (scientifically) does both.

I hope Heethus goes far.

I am riding Lemley all day here.  Him at 70 KG tells me he intends to be 149lbs or 157lbs.  That makes me think Wohlbert at 141lbs is in play (which I absolutely love).

79 KG is absolutely loaded with guys who will be vying for AA honors next season.

I still want to say Henckel, next topic.  This should show us a lot (and maybe correct the general assumption that he is one of the odd men out next season).

Berge should have Brenot in the quarters.  I think winner takes it all at 86 KG.

92 KG looks like Stout and Bechtold are on a collision course.  Give me Bechtold in that one.

97 KG not too deep.  McDanel is the clear favorite.  Who from the bottom side?  Dineen?  Give me McDanel.

Surprised to see Connor Mirasola get the #1 seed as well as Cole not entered at 125 KG.

Most of the guys who I favor over a small Connor are in the bottom half.

Mora will probably tell us the most early on.  If he doesn't struggle due to size there, he will likely make the finals rather easily.

I expect Hopke there, but there is a lot of depth down there (Herrera, Stoddard, Hill, Mullen, etc).  Actually?  Give me Mirasola over Mullen in the finals.

I have seen a lot of negative sentiment about dee on X. Namely brought on by a tweet by Beshada where he said Robideau came out of nowhere this year despite having beaten Melvin soundly at whos 1 winning super 32 his senior year and then making the open and u20 finals last year beating joy and Melvin again but Thats besides the point. In that tweet he also said Dee is the most stock down guy this past year. I think its pretty easy to be down on Dee because he has not won the last two tournaments he entered but I honestly thought he wrestled great against Jayden. I personally did not expect him to have a lead with less than a minute left in either match, after all Jayden beat Quincy and had Carr on the ropes so for Dee to absolutely be in the match to me was great for him. I think Jayden is just super special.

Dee just doesn't look like he has the same drive to win that he used to and that guys like Landon do. Both times he lost to Jayden he seemed more okay with it than I would expect of a guy that caliber. But in terms of talent and ability he is absolutely a finalist candidate this year if he starts and someone who can make more world teams in the future
