That Bessent drip in DC claims it's just a "temporary blip" and will go away soon.

Yes, he has a bridge to sell you. And waterfront property in Arizona.

Trump is a tremendous liar. But his guy TS Scott Bessent may be the only bigger liar in the world.

Yet another self-serving billionaire in Trump's cabinet looking to make another illegal cash grab.

It never gets old for the Trump folks. Regular folks suffer more, while they get richer.

I get more and more tired of it every day.

You can tell when they're lying. Their lips are moving. I have a glacier to sell anybody that originally believed these scumbag pedos.

Jet fuel prices have doubled since then.

All for Israel. Provides no benefit whatsoever to the avg American.

While I obviously didn't vote for trump, the one silver lining I thought could come from his presidency was a decrease in cost of living, lower fuel prices, improved interest rates, less taxes etc...

It has been the exact opposite- everything is more expensive, I was just taxed more by the federal government than I have ever been in my life and by a large margin at that. He literally has not done anything to help improve things fiscally for anyone and it's wild that that was a big reason the swing voters voted for him.

4.45/gal?    Most in WA would be ecstatic with such a low price.   We are 5.75/gal right now.

But Washington folks love gas and are happy to pay more.

Neither all D's nor all R's are dumb. In fact, anybody who tries to push that lie - is simply trying to divide us and pit the R's against the D's and vice-versa.

Every time. Every single time anybody posts that claim; you know the poster is a sh** for brains who is up to nothing other than trying to divide us.

We've got to question what kind of sh** for brains that poster is. And where he is from, and what his motivation is.

It is 100% guaranteed, that kind of garbage posting isn't in the best interest of us or our country.

So, what is up with that sh** for brains poster?

Weird

That’s from November 2021.  Gas prices are currently +$1.00/gal from the November 2021 price.

Some things that impact gas prices are within the president’s control and some things are not.  The big factors that drove gas prices up during Biden’s presidency were the Covid 19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine.  The president neither started the pandemic nor the War in Ukraine.  The thing that’s driving up gas prices right now is a supply restriction due to the War with Iran.  That war started with the US and Israel launching airstrikes on Iran.

Nobody was pardoned?    Nobody who maybe was part of funding a particularly risky set of research in wuhan?

This was a talk he gave at Georgetown on January 10th 2017.  This was 10 days before Trump's inauguration.  Not 1 day.

Setting that aside, what exactly would he be charged with?  He was giving a talk on pandemic preparedness.  After that statement he went on to give historical examples and how predecessors who have predicted no pandemics or that infectious diseases were solved were proven incorrect.  He quotes Nobel prize winner Sir Macfarlane Burnet "To write about infectious diseases is almost to write of something that has passed into history.  The most likely forecast about the future of infectious diseases is that it will be very dull."  He remarks that the mistake Burnet made is one many have made and then points out something he said was brought up in an early panel discussion at the event that we must look beyond our borders.

Because he didn't make the same mistakes of past immunologists/virologists you think he should be prosecuted?

Proceeds from the sale of the ‘vaccine’ should be forfeited and directed to the ‘vaccine damaged.’

Maybe the guy who had the US do project warp speed and was in charge when the vaccine rolled out should start that process then

Yes, there is now official confirmation from the U.S. government that NIH-funded research in Wuhan met the functional definition of "gain-of-function."

While Dr. Fauci and the NIH spent years denying this by using a narrow regulatory definition, the narrative shifted significantly in May 2024 due to congressional testimony and federal audits.

1. The NIH Admission (May 2024)

During a hearing before the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, NIH Deputy Director Lawrence Tabak was asked directly if the NIH funded gain-of-function research in Wuhan.

The Admission: Tabak stated, "It depends on your definition of gain-of-function research. If you’re speaking about the generic definition of gain-of-function, yes we did."

Are you trying to say that fauci helped release covid intentionally? Wtf is your point?

If fauci lied why hasn’t he been arrested or indicted or anything of the sort? I’ll hold my judgement for when he actually gets charged and see evidence

Is the allegation that in the video you posted where Fauci predicted a pandemic before Trump's first term that wasn't a prediction at all.  Fauci knew it was going to happen because he knew that $600k from a $3.6M grant to EcoHealth Alliance awarded in 2014 would be subcontracted out to WIV and used for something that fits a definition of gain-of-function research that would lead to the COVID-19 pandemic 3 years later?

So what is the tie in to gas prices here?  I had said some things that impact the price of gas are within a president's control and others are not.  I wasn't really assigning fault of the COVID-19 pandemic to any US president.  Not Obama, not Trump, and not Biden.  Even if that complicated theory applies dubious blame for the pandemic at Fauci's feet, it would take further conspiracy to assign to blame to a US president as a direct cause of the pandemic which raised gas prices.

People can argue about how well Biden and Trump managed the pandemic but neither of them caused it.  The same thing can be said of the Ukraine-Russia war.  Neither ordered the Russian special military operation in 2022 that turned into an invasion. Contrast this with the Iran War that is currently driving up gas prices.  Clearly Trump authorized the airstrikes that started the conflict.
