AKA definitely works for guys with wrestling base. Cormier and Cain, amongst others, became competent strikers who could still effectively wrestle. I'm not sure what Bo is trying to do? Does he think he's going to become a brawler like Gaethje or Chandler?

Bo should be training with Cormier (AKA) and the Dagestani's when they're in the US. ATT is a great team but I don't think they have the right playbook for someone like Bo.

Correct. He is part of the 2023 graduating class, whereas Lilledahl is part of the 2024 graduating class. Similarly, I would say 2013 was the last year with no true freshman AA's as Garrett took a grey shirt.

There was for sure talk that they were coming to Iowa State. We were on the same visit as Kyler, Meza, and Castillo. It for sure was his second choice but they want (ed) to follow in Dad's footsteps at ASU. Side Note: That recruiting visit was off the chain with the talent there. Lockett, Larkin, Routledge on and on. If Iowa State could have got 1/2 those guys, man oh man.

I could see Bassett getting seeded above Valencia because he has had two MFS wins over him the last year. Real hard to place Blaze, but I could see Gross getting the 2, 3, or 4 in that bunch. I don't like the above because it puts Gross/Blaze in the QF. That said, NLWC hasn't entered yet, and Barlett will be there to break up that matchup... another week of entries still to go. The NCAA lost a ton of money in 2020 from not having March Madness basketball. The NCAA couldn't afford to lose out on football revenue and basketball revenue in the 2020-2021 school year, but they realized there would be reluctance on the part of athletes to waste a year of eligibility if the season did not happen or was cancelled midway through. They countered this by assuring athletes that participating in 2020-2021 would not harm their eligibility, ensuring that most athletes would agree to play and that the NCAA would get their normal revenue streams. (Don't forget that in the 2020-2021 school year, it didn't seem to be guaranteed that a full season could go off without a hitch)
