Snyder to OkSt is exactly the kind of thing that we need. More press, more interest, more wrestling. The soap opera adds to it for some. For hardcore wrestling fans it gets better, too. (The creeps who want to judge others? Start with Trump being a felon multiple times - when you're done, then try Snyder.)

C'mon scooter. We know you and Bigbrog are the only douches here. (And @JimmySpeaks is at least 2/3 douche.) I'm just looking to 8647 - as soon as possible. Do all you little boys have a problem with that? - Today

It'd be stupid not to. Taylor's not tiptoeing around the PSU thing and if Snyder wants to leave, what type of moron wouldn't want to bring him in? I'm not convinced he's the 2026 representative with Brooks. I think Brooks struggles to go the full 97KG vs Taz andSad with his built, but vs Snyder...who isn't exactly lankly, he should do just fine.

Is Weed still on the banned substance list? I thought it was taken off(edit-I just realized, I don't think I thought it'd been taking off...I still remember Richardson getting a short suspension, I guess I just kinda assumed it had until I thought about her). I couldn't care less if a guy gets popped for Weed. I don' think there's much embarrassment associated with that. There are too many elite athletes who partake for pain management...and I'd smoke daily if it didn't have me in the corner of my own house all paranoid and weird. Oh, and I've NEVER met a pot smoker who didn't say, "oh no, this doesn't make you paranoid, it's a nice mellow buzz and great for your joints." And...I've always found it to be nonsense...maybe my joins feel better, IDK...I'm too damn paranoid. But that goes back about a decade since I've last been fooled by that little...persuasion tactic. -
Ok... well, I don't agree with either. With your take or Penn States. But you have to account for why they chose to not participate 10 years ago as well. If it's about bad feelings about David Taylor taking over at Okie St...and I don't know who you're referring to other than maybe Starocci running his mouth(which is hardly new or...indicative of anything) or Nickal maybe. They're the only two guys I could imagine complaining. I'd also disagree about PSU protecting seeds or that Wrestling in November has nothing to do with Wrestling in March. I know coaches who have their schedule's and workouts planned week by week throughout the year. What I COULD see and what I think PSU...maybe as much as anyone(but Iowa and...well, most programs have done this) is that PSU in particular wants to minimize their competition, their events through the B1G duel season and they use the first half of the year to just figure out their lineup. But more than anything...they don't seem to care about National Duels anymore now than they did 10 years ago when they were the best team and also...not participating. You think it's a "cult mentality" that people project onto Penn State, but I think you are kinda projecting this onto Penn State. I think Cael just doesn't think it's worth it for the reasons he's given and that's it. He doen't feel like he has to answer to anyone becaue...well, he really doesn't. He doesn't need to justify his coaching philosophy because it's self explanatory. So...again, we BOTH believe they should be there, you're just reading much more into why they're not than I am. What's your thinking about why Cael declined to go the first opportunity he got at Penn State? I would like to hear him explain when he thinks they should be and how they should be run...as he's articulated whyhe doesn't like them(though vaguely). I would imagine this would require the NCAA to recognize it as a team duel championship...perhaps after the NCAAs as many State do with duel championships. I'd really doubt it is more about his first prized recruit and the guy David Taylor called a mentor...spiting the event because his new program was putting it on. That just doesn't feel likely. Maybe we'll have to agree to disagree here...(though I'd be interested in who has taken shots at David Taylor...I don't really stay up to date on the social media snipping).

And even two more things joke or not, I am answering same way..it was based on bad info. You naming one guy, doesn’t constitute “the Cornell” and their rhetoric. So much comes out of his mouth especially, at times I don’t think the fan base wants to claim him but what can you do? I would hope nobody get worked up about my response. Just was setting the record straight on a topic that has completely gone to a false narrative. Thats all. Don’t let it bother you, it didn’t bother him.

It's "over 1M in total purse." but I have to disagree. Cael hasn't publicly (to my knowledge) expressed any excitement or support for David Taylor moving on and taking over a rival program. You'd think it would be easy to say "I'm proud of David and excited that one of my first recruits at PSU is going to another program.. it will be a fun rivalry.. etc. etc." But it's seemed like the opposite. He dodges questions about DT and OSU, and just says he's worried about his team. It just furthers the cult mentality that people project upon PSU. David goes to OSU after 15 years in Happy Valley and multiple former/current PSU wrestlers essentially expressed anti-David sentiment. Wrestling in an event in November in no way would effect PSU's ability to peak for March.. the events are 4 months apart. He may believe it's best to avoid hard competition early in the season, but it likely has more to do with seeding than the ability to peak for March.

Yeah you are right i didnt know they went to an out of state tournament start of year. Doesnt change anything I said either. Just means that he wrestled even that much more above his weight.

I can appreciate that, my 3 year old acts the same way when he is wrong.

CLAIM: A video from a 1985 hearing exposes Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden for using the N-word, stating: “We already have a n----- mayor, we don’t need any more n-----big shots!” AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. Biden was not making the statement himself, he was reading a racist statement made by a state legislator during a redistricting process in Louisiana that was overseen by a deputy attorney general nominee. Biden was questioning the nominee under oath about the comments during a U.S. Senate hearing.

Maybe I've missed it, but I can't find anything talking about Aaron Brooks, and why he's not competing. Is he injured? Is he done? Did he become a missionary? I'm assuming injury since he was supposed to be at the Flo event in Feb and pulled out.

Awesome boss. Enjoy. Blue cheese is great too. I don’t dip steaks per se in anything either…. But from time to time I’ll make fillet sandwiches which I do like the horseradish on.
-
It’s actually a homemade blue cheese for the veggies. Don’t do any dipping with my steaks. But I grew up an hour south of Indianapolis and am very familiar with Elmo’s.

What y’all smoking this weekend. My cousin is getting out of the navy so I’m having everyone over. More kids in this house this weekend than ever. Doing two pork shoulders I injected with apple juice cider vinegar salt butter bbq rub…. Bbq brisket burnt end Beans…. I double smoked some bacon and garlic. I am making a Smokey potato salad with the bacon…..

Fire meal! if you like horseradish look into a restaurant called st Elmo’s in Indianapolis. They ship via Amazon. Looks like maybe a horseradish dipping sauce there.

Penn State 2025-2026 lineup (updated)
scourge165 replied to Jimmy Cinnabon's topic in College Wrestling
To the first bolded part, that's not been my argument. I've NEVER said I thought he'd lose. I responded to a post as to who could stop them from winning NINE National Championships...a ridiculous number. Not that I didn't think he could or would win. To your new proposal, LOL...no! Because I said he has to take down! The point of contention was you arguing the only reason guys get ridden is a physical maturity issue. Mine is that it's... just so much more than that. A physical maturity issue, a lot of feel. You think he's going to be hitting a standing gramby and kicking out vs a tough rider? Maybe you do, I don't. If he goes the year and doesn't take down or takes down in the Black Knight Invitational...sure, he could get out. But if he wrestles it like Bastida(for example) did and he's losing 1-0 matches because he doesn't take down or more likely, winning 9-3 matches because he's giving up 3 TDs and then 3 escapes...it wouldn't really apply to the entire disagreement...right? That's why nhs was saying I should be giving you odds. So if I don't think he'll go down...and I think he might be the best Wrestler in the World...why would I want to bet on RT under THOSE circumstances? Edit-And in fact...I already addressed both of these; And...when you asked if I wanted to bet; And my response; There was other stuff in there about...why kids get ridden and all that, but this is the most pertinent. -
Game 3 tonight in Sunrise, FL. Had her on the full fire sear right at sunset and sat her down just as they started the national anthem. Pics to follow…
