Burroughs turned 38 last week. But anyway.. the lowest weights have much shorter windows of success than middle to upper weights. I agree 26 isn't old, but who was the last world champion at 57kg/61kg that was 30 years old?

I'm assuming this is in response to my questioning who are "flame-outs." I don't consider a single person you listed a flameout at this point.. but Carroll could potentially be. Gallagher, Chittum, Facundo, and Amos all seem like guys that simply reached a plateau in high school and haven't been able to keep that trajectory going at the next level. Reaching your peak vs flaming out (losing interest, finding destructive behaviors, etc.) are two very different reasons for lack of college success IMO.

Listening to Monday's FRL, CP tried to argue against whether or not Vito's health was a factor in the result of Jax's win over Vito. I understand that he doesn't want to diminish Jax's win, but it seems like an absolutely egregious stance to pretend like Vito's health wasn't a key factor in how the match played out. I think it's fair to say that we don't know what happens between a full strength Vito against Jax.. but I can't imagine going on the podcast and pretending like Jax's win was against even a close to top strength Vito. I am typically a CP apologist, but I was genuinely disappointed and annoyed by the lack of acknowledgement that Vito was clearly hampered. 6:50-9:00 is the crux of the conversation.

No problem. I'll help you understand, you little twit. Since we don't have a time machine, we can't fix what didn't happen in previous years. What we can fix - is to get the files released NOW.

Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Caveira attacking Caveira's post ... not again!? So incredibly stupid. Kids - it is the trend right now, but lying and deceiving people is the wrong choice. Honesty is always better. Oh what a tangled web we weave/ When first we practice to deceive
-
And, no, I'm not letting you off that easy. You are encouraging people to "hate almost all politicians". Clearly trying to convince people to distrust government. The very government that has made us the best country in the world. You are about as unpatriotic and unamerican as is possible. In your little world of trying to drive up anger and hate, how do you think this will help any of us, or you?
-
That post was a reply to Caveira... so you are Caveira? Cool that you've confirmed it (again.) See my quote above, even an uneducated little turd yourself should be able to figure out your dipsh**'ism.
-
Ah, the smallest of the small minded posters appears. Do you think hating someone's position is the same as hating them as a person? How about believing someone is pond scum yet having no personal emotion toward them at all? I believe you need a refresher course in what 'hate' is, and why it's such a terrible thing.

Trump keeps getting punked by Putin
GreatWhiteNorth replied to Wrestleknownothing's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
Projecting much? (Yes, that's exactly what you do... all the time.) -
Let's be honest - Trump is a mush-for-brains senior citizen who is being controlled by his handlers. The truly scary part is that the people that are BEHIND him have no respect for the Constitution, and no respect for Democracy... no respect because their intent is end it. You're right - the Constitution has already been half-melted, and ending Democracy is just part of their Project's end game. Mush-brain Trump is pocketing silly medals that mean nothing to him or any of us. He's more interested in shiny stupid stuff that even attempting to be any kind of leader of the country - much less the leader of the free world. (See paving over the Rose Garden, or upgrading a Qatar jet, or looking at revoking Rosie's citizenship, etc.) It's not about him, he's a puppet. While the wicked ones behind him are reshaping the entire government, the military, and everything we used to trust. Trump keeps saying "Russia, Russia, Russia" ... and his propensity to say the truth out loud hasn't changed. Putin/Russia have been playing Trump from the start. They put their russian thumb on the scale and helped to get him elected both times. Russia absolutely wants to end US Democracy. They are the worst of our sworn enemies. The question really is if we're willing to recognize it and take the necessary steps to stop it.

A book you’ll forget you wrote. Then in a week or so you’ll say you never said something when you actually did but don’t remember. It’s so predictable. -

You're the AD: give the bag to a coach or a wrestler? 💰💰💰
bnwtwg replied to CHROMEBIRD's topic in College Wrestling
That is extremely false. The OKC Thunder this year, the Celtics last year, and the Spurs dynasty were all built on homegrown talent. Victor Wembenyana (VW) recently had this to say in an interview with Maxime Aubin (MA): MA: You'll be eligible for a lucrative contract extension next summer, worth around $300 million over five years. Do you still plan to stay with the Spurs for the long term, or even spend your entire career there? ** VW: To be honest, I haven't given much thought to this contract extension, or how much it would cost. But, yes, of course. I know it's not everyone's ambition in the NBA, but it's obviously my dream to spend my entire career with one franchise. MA: In recent weeks, several NBA stars have been linked with San Antonio, such as Kevin Durant, who eventually left for Houston, or Giannis Antetokounmpo, still with Milwaukee. Shouldn't we have recruited a player of this caliber? ** VW: No, I don't think so. Breaking up your entire core for a single player rarely works. And the Spurs are masters in the art of building teams without having to go out and get too many big players, or having to sacrifice the balance of the group. Baseball was also won by teams that built from the ground up until the Dodgers adopted the Madoff method of deferring billions of dollars twenty years down the road (and certainly nothing bad will come of that). The NFL regularly demonstrates that you have to build from within through the draft. Carl has proven this method to be the best at the most dominant dynasty in US sport as well. He occasionally takes a mercenary, but for the most part PSU is homegrown and other than Max Dean and maybe Truax, the VORP for the typical PSU transfer is fairly negligible given their insane depth. -
Correct. Pay them to compete in the events that actually matter for the sport’s championship where they are representing their country, not random cards that will have no impact outside of that event.
