  2. Schultz has about the worst draw you can get. The on paper second best guy (Semenov) in the first round, and then the heavy favorite to win gold waiting in the quarters. Semenov is not a disciplined wrestlers, so he does on occasion foam one in and show up way out of shape and overweight. Maybe that can help. Too many wreslters in the field that are a level above whatever the US brings at 97 and 87 kg for any real chance. At 77, yes Nao but no Akzhol. So that's a major absence that weakens the field, possibly the most talented rep in the potential field is out. Bey has tough match to start against Amoyan. Bey is good but he'll most likely need to win 2 or 3 coin flip matches just to medal. At 60, I don't recognize these names besides Victor. Fumita and Emelin are not in the field. I don't see a Cuban entry either. Yay Emelin is back on the world stage, with one of the most technical and aesthetically pleasing styles of wrestling.
  3. Interesting times. Colbert, Acosta, Reid, Lemon, Cuomo, Kimmel… who’s next? The View?
  4. Mike Poeta is a guy who was one of my favorites. He had Burroughs and another brutal matchup, but he was such an explosive Wrestler, I was a fan. Started out up at 165 because of the Tirapelle's at Illinios, then goes 3, 2, 2 with losses to Leen, Burroughs in the finals and I think one of the Paulson's in the Semi's. I didn't read all 6 pages, but he doesn't seem like he's remembered like he should be.
  5. I am surprised you all are not complaining about the weaponization of the FCC. Ha, just kidding. I am not surprised at all. Now compare and contrast to Fox making up from whole cloth the store about the Dominion voting machines. Did the FCC threaten to pull Fox's license? No, it did not.
  6. Yup. That's... a very accurate quote. I definitely said, "narcotics are cool."
  7. Yeah... I didn't "compare" them, but I DID take a guy who was a 4X NCAA Champ and who is actually coaching and suggest him rather than a guy people speculate MIGHT choose to coach in the future.
  8. Hello rv.
  9. Thanks. Sad that some go so low as to even troll something like this.
  10. You're probably not wrong that he's in the mix. Especially with him already in final X next year. But while 65 was very tough, I'm not sure Woods beat anybody close to Forest's win over Suda. Woods wrestled one guy listed in FLO's pre tournament top 10, and it was a quick TF loss. I don't say this to dismiss his performance, but more to dispute you using weight class strength as an argument. 65 is tougher but Forest wrestled harder opponents.
  11. Yes, his full potential is Olympic Gold (or silver as you say). The point of this topic is asking why he didn’t reach his full potential this weekend. How about giving your own theory instead of just criticizing others?
  12. Its definitely growth for Pyles....Sacha Baron cohen wouldn't have had the balls to bring up the hooker thing directly.
  13. But I was super impressed by Zahids dismantling of ghasempour.
  14. I think after this performance, you have to include Real Woods in the conversation. He medaled in a heavier and tougher weight than Jax was in. He obviously made big strides and is pretty new to freestyle, so he probably has a good learning curve.
  15. Today
  16. Pritzker playing politics. Remember when Disney fired Gina Carano. Weird right? Pritzker slams ABC’s indefinite suspension of Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show: ‘An attack on free speech’
  17. if he's too big for dake he could take maroulis.
  18. Trying 24 year olds as minors in dc and releasing them. Which one of y’all did there doing their best job policing?
  19. his lying eyes and ears no longer useful he turned to a leftist rag
  20. But she didn't get any of them Wkn fantasy thingies she got "3 pins."
  21. A fair statement. That said, they both dominated their respective weight classes at the Senior Men's Freestyle World Championships. That in itself is a HUGE jump from WTT. I guess your point is that Zahid was already at a much higher level. I just feel that the inconsistency of his previous senior men's performances really disappeared here. There was not a scintilla of that inconsistency in ANY of his matches.
  22. Zahid 3 techs, one decision, allowed zero points Helen 3 pins, one decision, allowed two points At first glance you have to give it to Zahid on the no points allowed, but there is nothing more dominating than a pinfall.
  23. Don't know about that but may be mayoring to the best of his ability. Thats who he is who they elected what they got.
  24. Here is an illegal alien running over a 16 year old who wouldn’t sleep with him … on camera .
  25. Yes, I said Zahid MAY have leveled up at this tournament. I said that because he clearly showed tremendous improvement over the past year… and he was already pretty good after narrowly losing to juiced up Olympic bronze medalist Brooks by the slimmest of margins. Then, after moving to Stillwater, he handled notoriously stingy Kyle Dake multiple times at OTT. I would say that Hidlays improvement from WTT was much more noticeable.
